Providers asking for 10/10 reviews

I have been a hobbyist since 2006 and fortunately seen some wonderful providers. I write reviews on about half of them. The other half have requested no review or I felt unmotivated to share that experience be it good or average. Bad experiences are rare because I select carefully and use TER to its fullest. However when a provider is poor I sometimes call her out as a service to my fellow hobbyists. Here is my question based on several providers asking me to write them a 10/10 review or write nothing at all....have you experienced that verbage from your providers and is it not a turnoff? In my case those requesting those high scores are not deserving and at best are a 8/8. Please share from both a provider and hobbyist point of view.

Mostly I've had gals ask not to have certain YMMV things we did put into a review.  I did have one gal ask me to raise a 9/9 review to a 10/10.
Another got a 7/7 and asked me to remove the review.  TER refused because it's against their explicit policy that, once approved, the review belongs to them.  Then the woman in question went to TER and told them the date never happened and they unapproved it.  I didn't fight it but obviously never saw her again.
But most of the time the women don't ask about a review at all.

before the top provider list was established. It was a new provider, if I recall she only had 2 reviews, and both reviewers had given her 10/10 scores. As we were finishing up, she asked me if I was going to give her a review and would it be a 10/10. I simply replied I'd probably review her but never mentioned the score I would give her

As it turned out I gave her an 8/9 and shortly after the review was posted, I received a pm from one of the other reviewers, he wanted to know why I gave her a low score. If my memory serves me correctly I did not reply to his pm.

The provider in question has retired and had her profile removed, but she did go on to be a very good touring escort.

BTW, I prefer to steer clear of  escorts with a string of 10/10 reviews.

I've never had a provider ask me FOR a TER review, let alone a high score. One woman asked me not to review her, saying in a low-key way something about not liking them. If I had reviewed her I would have given decent marks. I don't know what it would have been, probably NOT a 10/10. She had a few of reviews. Less than a full page. I didn't think much of it, certainly not that she was hiding anything.

Unless I say something about it after the session or email her later, the subject never comes up. With all this talk on the board, I've thought THAT strange from time to time. OTOH, if I DO review a lady, when I alert her, I sometimes ask HER to White List ME. And sometimes I feel presumptuous doing that.

That brings up a good question: is a gent asking for whitelisting the same as a girl asking for 10s?

I once had a gent after a date tell me that he doesn't review as a policy. However, after that engagement I got requests for OKs from him from every verification site on the planet. It somehow didn't seem fair.

If a gent shares his TER handle with me, I will usually whitelist him if we had a great time. Is there ever a time a gent would not want to be whitelisted?

Then don't write the review. You are not doing anyone a service if you do. Or write the review under an alias at the latter end of the timeframe.

The two of you continue to provide humor and excellent advice. If there was a Monger Hall Of Fame or at least a TER Hall I would nominate the both of you.

I have been asked once to upgrade a review and refused. Then was taken through the TER mill only to finally have the review removed. TER still gave the 15 days but must have been tired of the drama over the review or had a soft spot for the provider. In their defense they came to me and asked if I minded the removal. Keep in mind there were WKs hounding me and the Provider herself was on a campaign...I think the chick was a Domme and had all her panty boys bugging the hell out of me. I caved, it really did not matter that much to me, it was early on in my TER tenure and I thought it was the right thing to do. I would not do the same thing now.

Can you explain your logic here? If I'm going to a really high-end restaurant, I would look for reviews so I know I'm not going to get hosed when I get there.

If anyone ever wrote only 10/10 reviews, that's basically lying / false advertisement, as it doesn't give an accurate picture of the quality of service. Of course, not everyone is perfect all the time, but I find it encouraging when there are lots of 8/9/10 scores and no low scores. Or even a 6 or 7 here or there isn't a bad thing, as long as it's infrequent.

I don't understand it.
I will say that I enjoy the feedback from the men.
I think sometimes we only want to see our side...

Kinda like, if a guy cancels and the girl gets all upset. I have done this before on last minute cancellations.. I have had guys write back, "girls cancel on me all of the time!" To which I reply, "but not me! I don't. So why are you using that horrible excuse and taking it out on me?" If you cancel like an hour before we are going to meet, fine.. Send me like a $50 amazon card so I can buy a new dress and get over it. I think that's pretty reasonable. If I cancel I offer more time when meet the next time or once I put 50 towards his date with another girl..

Anyway, back to the topic.. It's interesting to hear guys perspective of things that go on behind the scenes that I am oblivious to... I can see how it would make you not want to write a review. I wrote to one reviewer once.. As he said I had bad breath so he wasn't able to do anything.. The story didn't line up. I hadn't had anyone that refused to do anything due to any breath issues - or any issues. I just wrote him asking when we met, who he was.. No reply.

makes you wonder how they got their solid (inflated)  reviews.

I don't always give scores lower than 9

Actually the OP has never given a 10/10 so if he ever does write one it will actually mean something coming from him.

I have seen a couple of the ladies he has reviewed and while his scores are lower than either of their "average" scores, I think the OP is spot on in his ratings.

The reviews only effect me when there is room to improve, or they bring down my average. (yeah, that is kind of a bummer.)
A guy who I had a great time with gave me a "Looks: 7 Performance:9" While it did bring me performance up slightly up from the 8 mark, it brought my Looks 8, down to a 7.8798675764....

URGH...

Not mad with him, didn't email him a nasty gram, matter of fact, he is entitled to his opinion.
I wonder how men would feel if they were publicly rated on looks, considering looks are so subjective (and somewhat personal.)

As long as my average stays up, I could care less.
I don't have anything under a 7, and I work my ass (mouth/twat) off to keep it that way.

I would never ever in a million years demand a 10.
I know you can't get a 10 without greek (I don't do) or a 3rd in there...
So 9's are the best for me, 8's are reasonable. 7 is making me wonder what I need to fix.
Just my perspective

To me, the WL is for the providers' security and to aid in screening. Whether or not the man is good in bed or fun to be with isn't what it's about.

It means:
He's straight with the money.
He poses no physical threat.
He's clean and shows up, not a flake.

Beyond that, I know women have their own code that clients don't understand. "Oh, he's a sweetheart!" "He's a cutie!" "Treat him right."

Sometimes the woman I meet tells me, So and so and so said you were a sweetheart," or, "She told me to treat you right." I always feel there is some secret insult to these, but I have no idea what they are. Are older guys 'sweethearts?' Does, "Treat him right," mean he sometimes fattens the envelope? Or that he likes to repeat? I have no idea. Or maybe these expressions mean nothing.

Why a provider would do this. I would think honest reviews would be better so the gent knows what to expect. It's better for a gent to be pleasantly surprised than to be like WTF was that? I actually like that when I open the door and I can see the surprise on his face because he thinks I'm prettier than my pics. I think it reflects his review, and I think he's more likely to return. And, isn't that the goal? REGULARS?

I don't ask for reviews (I did from my regulars before I got my first review on TER, but they weren't accepted anyway), but I do secretly always hope he writes one. I feel like if I specifically ask that he write one, that he may inflate it (thinking he's doing me a favor) which will consequently disappoint the subsequent gentlemen. And, that's not my goal because I hate rejection and being a disappointment. My goal is to have a good grip of reliable regulars so I don't have to hassle with the boring and nerve-wracking parts of escorting. And, I don't think that's done by blindsiding and disappointing men.

Harry replied, "I don't give them hell, I just tell the truth and they think it's hell.")

You know you've made it on TER when they start referring to you as a "Man hating bitch" and not simply a bitch. Ask HotPlants and H+T, they have both made it to that lofty level here, and I know H+T is loving every minute of it. Now that she's discovered the pleasures of the "dark side" she may become every bit a bitch as I am an asshole.

and don't forget the next step in your evolution here, and that's when they start calling you "negative" and "angry"

and one last thing. I think I like "yo mammna" already, she sounds like a smart woman. lol

1)Then don't write a review:

If the provider knows your hobby name etc and you do write a review that is not what she requested (and that is bullshit right there) a guy can run the risk of trouble, and sometimes bad trouble. By not complying h neither buys into her request and saves himself some possible aggravation. Not exactly right but but sometimes cutting losses is the way to go.

2)You are not doing anyone a service if you do.:

If he writes a review and gives her what she wants, then he is lying at her request if he feels she does not deserve that score.

3)
Or write the review under an alias at the latter end of the timeframe.:
Possibly the only way to write the review AND be honest about it if he uses an alias to do so

Maybe guys like fungus but here I thought I was cool with most people so your post is a little bit surprising.  Actually,  some may be offended that I joke too much and post too much but whatever. lol

As for raising your score,  hmm maybe post a thread about it?
I'm sure it may come off as a threAD to some guys but who cares.  lol

personally,  I think that having accurate photos that reflect your best traits would help attract more guys who find you more attractive. Removing that element of surprise,  may help.  Just a thought.

I hardly ever give less than a 9 if the girl looks like the type I wanted to see.  Some who see my review history would probably bitch that I give to many 9 and 10 but if the girl looks attractive enough for me to book an appointment and she wasn't using too much Aldo magic,  why would I want to score her any less

1.  It just seems so gross...
2.  Guys think that just because I am doing it for you - I'll do it for them.
3.  Our time is our time and should not be shared with others...
4.  Those hobby guys are just so pushy;  you aren't one of THOSE are you?

However, what actually works is - "I don't want a review".  The reason is not important to me.  I may want to see her again - I may want a reference.

I don't get why guys feel such an obligation, to go as far as risking their entire lives just to make sure a girl gets an 8 instead of a 10. Listing who is doing it? A lot of these guys are dishing out their real information. I would never. Not on TER General. Yikes.

This is supposed to be fun. Passive aggressiveness can be good to send out subliminal messages to people without going as far as saying, "Hey! I'm putting your business in the light. Why don't you just blast my real name all over the internet and ruin my life?"

No thanks
