DC men did send me emails to visit, in fact about 25 of them, on the TBD board, but refused to commit to any bookings.  Very discouraging, and I wondered what the brouhaha was all about. Maybe just showing off to each other, or just trying to make me seem popular. Of course I've thought for these last three years, that with my newness to touring that I had done something wrong that made them not willing to commit to any but ONE one hour booking , until I read these posts.

Boston men, I've been told by US independents, are great to the ladies, thus a desirabe for touring and had I taken on touring, or if I still do, I would DEFINITELY want to go there,

The only city I toured was Seattle though, and it was an incredibly positive experience.  I have been thinking about going back, especially after being asked again recently. The guys there do treat a lady right,

I've noticed that my favorite kinds of eye candy tend to visit DC once or twice, then limit their future visits to other venues such as Boston, Philly, and New York, in that order.
There are several exceptions of course.
The MontrealGirlfriends.com hotties are just the most recent example.
One trip to DC, and we drop off the list.

Boston and Philly Eros always seem to have far more attractive vixens than DC, IMHO.

Yet we in DC have no LE problems, well-dressed profesisonal men with good manners, tons of horny if boring politicians & government managers, and swarms of hungry lawyers who specialize in marathon daty & slow doggie, because their wives either fall asleep during daty, or do their nails during doggie. DC has cultural and historical sites everywhere, and nice restaurants. We DC gents all have monster schlongs, according to government studies. {JK-LOL).

What is wrong with us, and what can we do about it?

I can understand why visitation is slow in cities with LE problems or large numbers of providers, but DC is not like that.
There has not been a prosecution in DC itself of a provider or agency since the late 1980s, unless drugs were involved, or someone was blonde enough to do outcall in Virginia near the police station, or to hoover an Arlington policeman.

Tampa must be a ghost town now.

Big talk, little action, apparently from DC hobbyists who beseech these gals to come into town and then don't book.

This includes that Montreal operation too, Mr. Schlong, who emailed me that they might not be back because of low dc clientele (quantity, not necessarily quality.)

Meanwhile, I have been eyeing a few lasses I wouldn't mind trying to cajole this way. But I'm not sure how that's done. And we might have a bad rep, other than from Chicago mace-wielders. They love us.

I spent a considerable amount of time in DC.  I tend to agree with thelostschlongs astute observation that vixens tend to shy away from the DC metropolitan area.

Unfortunately, it has a lot to do with perception.  Most visiting ladies have this notion that DC is "peppered" (no pun intended Keanu) with dirty old politicians.   They also perhaps have the wrong impression about DC's tolerance on these kinds of activities.  

Another factor is the cost of advertisements.  It seems that Virginia, DC, and Maryland have steeper advertising costs than some other cities.  Not sure if the agencies provide hindrance...

As for the Montreal Girls - they prefer Boston because of its closer proximity to Montreal.

Being from the DC area, I think I know what is wrong.

Its on both sides, the men and ladies.

First off, the ladies that travel often post a message trying to get a feel for the land - and the DC men have the "White Knight" syndrome... and are afraid to mention to the lady that she is not quite a fit for the area in fear of ticking someone off... so they say "Yeah, come to town!"

On the ladies side - you can't rely on only one place to advertise.  Get yourself an ad on Eros, and other places.  Perhaps post something in the local City Paper.  Get exposure!

Dr Strange, may be true, for situations that you have witnessed, but in my case I received a private email alerting me to the long thread on the DC board specifically inviting me.  In fact I wasnt even interested in touring, so it wasnt about me trying to find my way in.

Dinner date/Overnights, as only one person's date.  I get so lost in Vegas.  Must be that all those slot machines look alike, and I cant figure out on which corner I am. And all those bright lights!  I definitely need the male to escort me in the right direction ... heheh.

I think the average DC rates are quite a bit lower than the NY, Philly, SF, LA rates.  Hence the local hobbyist are more reluctant to commit to visiting ladies.  In return, less willing tours by agencies.

I have talked to Eve in DC about the local situation and she mentioned that the rates in DC are low because the hobbyist in DC area in general are more conservative, hence not as much activities go on there.

Witness the quality of the local DC providers.  Only a few of them are truely outstanding compared to other cities.  If not for the touring girls from Miami or NY, it will be a lot worst.

As far as the montrealgirlfriends.com hotties are concern, I heard from Kristy during their recent tour in LA that they are more concerned with Dinner dates and locations.  The girls are excited by LA's weather but are disappointed by the Dinner date reservations compared to that of SF.  I don't think hobbyist in DC will do a lot of dinner dates due to their higher profiles in a small city.

Just my 2 cents.
