requiring ladies posting an ad to either have a link to their TER Reviews or a statment that they do not have any TER Reviews.

Registered providers already have that link built in, so whenever they post under their username, the link to their reviews shows up.

Why shouldn't it be the same for all ladies?

This is the erotic REVIEW after all...is it not?

So here is the questions:

1.) Should ALL ladies posting ads on TER regional boards be required to post a link to their reviews or a statement that they do not have any reviews?

2.) Should there be a penalty for falsely stating you have no reviews or linking to someone elses reviews?

3.) What should the penalty be?

4.) Should a post offering doubles be required to have links to both lady's reviews?

As always, I look forward to the views and opinions of both ladies and gentlemen on this issue.

Have A Great Day!

I'm all for it.  If it's an ad, and she is making use of this site as an unregistered provider, she should, as a TER rule, be either linking us to the reviews or telling us that she has none.  Too many times on the regional boards do hobbyists have to post links to a lady's reviews on the Ad thread after they've done the research.  It's easy enough for her to put them in, and I've just about given up trying to find them if she doesn't.

If there is a fraudulent link (intentionally), banning should be the penalty. And yes, unless there are reviews of the doubles sessions, then both should be linked.

Good Questions.

The link between a provider's username and her reviews has to be done manually, so I send the provider username and review profile link to the person who creates the connection whenever I can. It is tedious and often requires me to do time-consuming research, but it's useful to everyone. Often, guys post it in reply to the ad, which is very helpful to me and all readers.

It would be a great help to me if, when anyone finds a missing "read my reviews" link in a provider's post and they find the lady's TER profile, they send the provider's username and TER profile link to me. Profiles that say "This provider information is no longer available on TER" are just as important for me to know about as active profiles are. Maybe I can get you credit for each one you send, just like when you send a problem report. :-)

A statement by a lady simply that she has no reviews does not tell me why. Has she just not yet received any, does she discourage reviews, or has she been delisted? If you know, then please let me know.

Ladies advertising doubles DO need to include links to both ladies (that has been policy for a long time).

Intentionally linking to another provider's profile would surely get the advertiser in hot water with TER.

Thank you,

What about when doubles are with a provider who hasn't made a website, and is only doing this for a little extra smiles?
My friend who is an Ex-Provider, never made a website, but was highly in demand about 4 years ago, through an agency. She didn't want the publicity a website or agency ad would create. I think she went on a referral basis, and word of mouth.

As for linking to someone elses reviews, I don't believe it's right at all, but there are times when a review is linked to a providers, then later removed because it was mis-placed.
We all have to watch over our reviews, just to make sure they are correct. That would be our responsibility to do so.

it's a bit too paternalistic for my tastes and I can see a few downsides.

There are quite a few guys here who seem incapable of searching reviews.  Under  item 2, the lady who has trouble searching (and therefore can't find her reviews) and claims she has no reviews, will be sanctioned.  Check the Newbie board, it's not uncommon to see a post from a new provider who says "a client told me I have reviews here but I can't find them."

Falsely claiming someone else's reviews should be bannable if it happens too often that it becomes obvious that something else is going on. Though the occasional mistake occurs and you will see them made by providers, mods, and other posters.  I view this as difficult to enforce.  How can you counter a lady who says she's changed her name or is unretiring and wants to claim her reviews?  There are plenty of posters who take great pleasure at calling out fraud ... that provides a good enforcement mechanism.

Besides, the guys who like to follow up ads with a posting of a link to reviews need to keep employed ... we're in a recession after all :-)
