When I read the reviews, typically I'm not that impressed, considering the donation amount, and the sex sounds mellow. Keepin it classy...no CIM swallow cumplay, assplay, no anal, etc.

If the performance is not out of this world, then are you really just paying for the opportunity to lie next to the hot babe?

What makes her worth the money?

That the only difference between a $500 girl and a $1000 girl is the $500. Nothing a provider can add at the $1000 level that a $500 girl can't do.

One was definitely worth it, not just because of her looks or talent, but her great charm and warmth.  She made me feel like I was walking on air.  (Don't ask, she's retired and can't even be mentioned on here.)  I wish I had the piggy bank to see such gals all the time.

The other was not worth it at all.  Limited menu, very shy, and her photos were definitely not that accurate.

The couple of times I've done it was for one main reason.  To full fill a fantasy.  I saw a couple of pornstars and the first one was great but the second one not worth it at all, and she pretty much soured me from spending that much on a lady ever again.  I've always had the cash, but after that experience, I'd never do it again.

And in the latter case she happens to be a magazine model or be in TV or films.  Though many porn stars/UTRs are well north of $1000/hr.

Before she dropped her TER listing, she was at $1000, but grandfathered me the second time at $800/hr.

Her face was as beautiful as the face of any provider I've seen so far, or any whose photos show faces. Her body was as good as that of any provider I've seen so far, or any whose photos I've viewed. I haven't been with any providers who've had both face and body to that extent, though.

Performance was as good as the best I've been with. Since I'm limited to what I can do at my age, that doesn't mean a lot.

In terms of clothing, hair, makeup, the ambiance of the room, etc, she was first class all the way. Nobody else I've seen has had that whole combination.

She was far more professional in communication than others.

Was it worth that much more? No, but I liked her enough to pay the fare.

out of curiosity, but not in that price range . . . . more like $400-500 and the sessions were never as good as the anticipation.  Most smoke during the session which is a complete turn-off for me.  

I wouldn't call them "porn stars," just girls who tried it out a few times but never made the top tier.  I've met a bunch of stars as well but have yet to be willing (or able) to pony up the $1500 or more they require.

I've only seen one provider who charges as much as $500 an hour, and that was including an outcall fee. And she only charged $800 for 3 hours.  She was about as perfect in body, mind, personality/spirit, and performance as I can imagine... at least for what I'm looking for in a provider.  She's retired now but my current favs are no more than $400 an hour. So I can't see myself going to the $700+ range any time soon, not even for a "porn star" since one of my favs gives as much of a PSE as I want and is gorgeous besides.

$1,000 in Tennessee is a lot different than $1,000 in NYC. Those higher rates are much more common in the expensive areas of the country, despite there being increased competition too.

That's about the only difference, some have it and others don't.  Most I've spent was for 2 hours with Monica Del Fiore, though I wouldn't say it was horrible, I wouldn't do it again unless the menu options were upgraded.  My ATF is as open as it can get and at $500 I think she is a steal.  What you think you'd be getting for $700+ doesn't really take you far these days, may be a YMMV thing, but at that price everyday should be her best and every client should look like Brad Pitt.  I've seen girls for $125 have left just as good an impression on me as the one for $1,200, so to me there is no difference.  Knowing and understanding that helps calm the expectations a bit, there are a couple of Porn Stars I would like to see (Kendra Lust and Ryan Conner) just as a bucket list thing.

That doesn't mean you will get a PSE (whatever that is!).  It also doesn't mean you wont.  

Living in the San Fernando Valley, I have seen many porn stars in the last several years. Some are UTR, some were Sugar Babies (checkout the "Erotic Highway board), some were working as strippers and provided in the club or OTC, and some were listed on top hobby websites.  

Prices I've paid ranged from $150 to $900. From my experience, there is no direct correlation between price and performance value.  In my opinion, there is also no direct correlation between hotter looks and performance value.  

Every provider is different.  Let me say this again: Every provider is different.  

As in almost every market, price is a flexible, malleable value that shows the intersection of cost & value at a given time.   A provider sets a fee for services offered, and a hobbyist sets a value for services desires.  When the two meet, commerce happens (see definition #3 in the link).  

Being a porn star, great beauty, passion for providing great service; these are all variables that may or may not be perceived to have value to a hobbyist. But there are inherently subjective.  

I think of this issue as I think about premium wines.   There are some amazing wines for $100 or more. And some $100+ wines I find average or worse.  Likewise there are any number of really great wines priced between $20 and $75. I'd drink these all day and serve them to my friends with pride.  

I suppose to keep the wine vs. provider analogy honest, I should swear off the $6 wines at Trader Joes (the BP of wine stores? , but the fact is if I just want a quickie (buzz) they will do if nothing else is available.

Pay the $1000+ if you think you are getting full value for it, pay less if you don't.  Simple.

....but my 2 cents is that the more I've spent the better time I have had.
Most likely I have yet to have a bad experience with a higher rate escort.
If that did happen I imagine I would much worse compared to a bad experience with a lower rate.

I've heard that in the classy wine world if you taste a wine and don't like it, you should not say it's bad, but rather, "Oh, that's interesting."

It's like wine...you have two bottles of wine at different price ranges but they both taste the same.  The perceived value is in the price because most assume the more expensive something is the higher quality it must be.  Now a woman charging $1000+ may or may not be better looking than one who charges below $500 (likely because she has more $$$ to put into her appearance) but from what I hear hotel rooms are more upscale and she offers beverages and food.  You can bet though the type of men seeing women that charge this much don't even flinch at spending a grand or more.

As I said in an earlier post, the $1000 provider I saw had a better face and body combination than pretty much any providers I've seen or whose full photos I've seen.

Two bottles of wine at different prices don't taste the same, at least not to someone who knows wine.

One interesting thing about this provider is that she didn't want reviews. She had 38, and didn't want more than that, as she wanted the guys to think she was low volume. She said they'll pay more for that.

I'm referring to the research in the link below.  Like I said before a $1000 provider could be better looking or just as good looking as one below $500.  It's all about marketing really.  "Low volume" is just another marketing technique to make someone appear more exclusive and it's a pretty subjective term.  Location also makes a difference as well as someone mentioned.  A $1000 provider in NYC would be a $400-$500 one here in the Carolinas.

Jade Hsu, pretty well-known on the West Coast.  I seem to recall it was around $350-$400 for the hour, but for an upcharge she would let you video the session.  I passed on the video.  No  one is going to want to see my hairy old ass doing a hot young Asian porn star . . . . not even me!  I would have repeated except I asked her not to smoke during the session, but she still lit up with about 15 minutes to go. Dealbreaker for me.  

I fully agree. People laughed at me when I said it took almost a year to figure it out but................If his sample is only 2-5 girls in the 1k range, it's not statically significant. If you see 25+ girls in the 1k range and 25+ girls in the "going rate " range for your area you have enough for a valid comparison.

I did that when I was new and came to the conclusion that on average the HDH girls are no younger, prettier or better in bed than the "going rate" girls.  

It's one big fantasy hype that's more about the marketing and packaging than the overall quality of the girl.

As you said only seeing one girl in the $1000+ range doesn't give you enough data to compare.  I'm definitely not trying to insult the 1k+ ladies but I've seen enough to know higher price doesn't necessarily mean high quality.  The main difference is those pulling off 1k range or more typically are better at marketing and may or may not have more money to spend on cosmetic procedures, personal trainers, better websites and photo shoots, ect.  In this day and age you can achieve beauty with the right amount of  $$$.
