I thought i learned my lesson, however this past trip a few days ago i booked a porn star ( PSE ). Her agent said she requires 50% deposit on long engagements (as i booked her for 96 hours). I said sure no problem because she had a few reviews (all good) and has a public reputation (porn star).
To make a long story short, she kept changing things, and waiting until the day of to tell me these things...two examples are; she told me she doesnt sleep in the same bed with strangers (whats GFE mean?) and that she was no longer meeting me at the airport because she got to bed late the previous day and would be a few hours late.
I canceled and said I paid you for half of the 4 days, so lets cancel the other 2 days and only do 2 of the 4 days.
The kicker is i booked a second girl for a 3some with the PSE, and when i canceled the 2 days with the PSE i moved over to the other girl. Not sure if the PSE is jelious or just a scam....but that 3grand of mine she has is alot of money that i really need back.
Her agent says that she has the funds and that i have to talk to her to get it back. She wont give it back and is telling me that she cant pay rent this month...(even though before my trip she said the same story about not being able to make rent that was due in 5 days, which would be about 3 days ago)
Im stuck in a bad position because that second girl i talk to told me she was offered to go to a gangbang with the PSE for 10grand....so i know the PSE has the money

Why would anyone book so much time with someone that he hasn't met on a previous session? I won't even do an overnight with a Provider unless I've met her before and we have some chemistry because even at my age, I can't go for 12 hours straight, and don't want to spend that much time with someone if our personalities just don't click.
It sounds as though you're on a budget if $3M is something that is breaking the bank, so my take away would be that you should be smarter about spending on your adventures (or if financing your adventures with debt). You should save the extended visits for your ATF because this is someone you have a reasonable assurance won't scam you and may be a more perfect experience (whatever that means). The hobby is an adventure, and I don't think you will find perfection, just fun, adventurous encounters that carry you through to the next fun adventure.

Unfortunately for you, you will most probably not see your 3K even if you initiate a dispute process with your CC issuer. However, this action may prompt the PS to consider working something out with you since the CC Co will put a hold on those funds till their investigation is completed and I do not know as to how they will react to these kind of services not rendered as advertised/promised! To come back to the title of my post, you will only find your way out of the mess that you have created for yourself once you truly feel the pain and I think that you have already started to feel that pain. You are going to have to look for answers from within, nothing anyone here can tell you that will magically cure you. Perhaps by accident one of us will throw something out there that will help you, but that's the most we can hope for.
I presume that by "it" you are referring to what I had referred to as my own personal demons and battles with various past addictive traits. The first step was obviously to identify that there were problems, rather than simply dismissing them as a passing phase or a fad. Yes, GaGa is right in stating that in every such instance I made a conscious effort to seek outside help and to draw from my own inner strength and resources to pull myself through my own mess, but only when the pain became so hard to tolerate and like I had alluded to, "salvation came through demise or technically speaking through near demise" Through it all though, I was just lucky enough (or blessed enough, although I do not like to use terms with religious connotation) to benefit from the love and support of my friends, inner circle and family.
Once you start taking pride in yourself, by truly appreciating the money that you make, rather than living off monopoly funds, you will hopefully be more astute with your finances. Personally, I have always been an active and athletic person, even though I have had lapses whenever I fell into my addictions and depressions. Everytime that I snapped out of it, I started exercising like crazy and although this may not be for everyone (please consult with a physician before you embark on any kind of rigorous exercise regiment) getting physically into shape was a natural antidote for me to combat all my vices. In short, whenever I became productive and took care of myself, I managed to beat all the stupid vices which I got myself into out of shear stupidity and boredom!

However, this would end up being more expensive than the $3k -- and then, if you won, there would be the matter of actually collecting. I've pulled this sort of thing off with people who have made me angry enough, but I do my own legal work most of the time so its free.
You could also file a dispute with your CC company. I actually think this has fair odds of success IF you have the details handled by a legal professional. Yes, lawyers are expensive. But this sort of thing doesn't cost much -- maybe $500 -- and it is pretty much a once and done. Keep in mind, the CC company can't accuse you of booking something illegal, because if they did, they'd be admitting to aiding and abetting prostitution across state lines by serving that agency. So this has better than even odds of success, though far from 100%.
So, going forward -- we have to deal with your personality issues. Personally, I believe that professional help might be in order. No man does therapy. He'll drink himself into oblivion, throw himself out of an airplane tied to a parachute and just about every half-witted option in oblivion -- but he won't seek help. Seeking help, after all, is unmanly. So you will probably ignore my advice, but I believe you SHOULD seek professional help. By the way, as I am at odds with that profession on a variety of issues, I don't make such a recommendation lightly. However, what you are describing sounds like behavior will within the diagnosable and *treatable* realm.
If you ignore my advice there, the next thing is to at LEAST try to hobby with some modicum of sense. You do NOT pay umpteen thousands of dollars to book women sight unseen. You just don't. That's crazy. Only once in hobbying have I ever offered to pay a woman in advance, and she was someone I had seen before and in whose ethics I have good reason to have faith.
If you are going to book at all, I want you to be booking in the moderate price range for now. There are a lot of TERRIFIC providers in the moderate price range. By "moderate" I mean $200-$350 depending on location.
Only book for 1-2 hours, and see what women can do in that time frame. Maybe book a different girl, one each month, for that amount of time. Use this to see what you do or don't like, and refine your choices. After about a year, you should have met a couple of ladies who totally blow you away. Go back to one of those, and if she is amenable, book your ultimate perfect experience -- which should take no longer than an overnight -- then quit.
Of course, you won't be able to quit because, you see, there is no single one perfect experience.
I have had "perfect" experiences with 4 ladies in the past couple of years. And guess what? Each one of them was perfect in a different way.

Do you always hobby in Vegas? I see that your review are on Ladies from Vegas! If so, are you from Vegas, or do you frequent Vegas for business trips, etc? The reason that I say this, is because Vegas ids the last place to visit for whatever reason, for someone who displays addictive/compulsive personality traits and suffers from lack of self-restraint and discipline! Also, why PSE? Do you fantasize being in a porno and are acting out fantasies? I must say that the pattern of booking escorts for days is very abnormal around here and I presume that most hobbyists on TER are 1-2 hour session kind of patrons and even the thoughts of acting out 4+ hours of fantasy with an escort, must be both very taxing to most average hobbyists' wallets if not to their sanity!

If you are serious about having a several day "adventure" with a GFE type provider, there are dozens of well reviewed providers that would be thrilled to accompany you for a few days, without socking it to you for thousands up front.
This board is chock full of information on how to hobby safely and enjoyably. If you won't take the advice that is given here on a daily basis, you are just wasting your time and ours.

What's really remarkable about this thread to me is the complete unanimity of the replies. And this is from a group that can't usually agree on ANYTHING! And, yet, the guy still doesn't get it and belligerently comes back for more.

what is an OP an on this thread WOW, may be new to the boards but ive had lots of fun nights with providers some so much so they lasted hours for free, personally it sounds to me like you were maybe a lil pushy, maybe a lil pressure on the said woman, as for the deposit thats your own fault, ive seen 3 pornstars and never been asked for a deposit

I agree that it's sad but I think my reason is different from yours. To me, it's said because he's done something incredibly foolish and expects that we have the ability to make it better. Then to make it worse, he gets mad at the people who respond.

Please obtain help, a compulsive disorder is something I had to overcome and it didnt destroy my life but I could have made better decisions, like I am today.

Cutting through the drama, this seems pretty straightforward. You paid up front for a service. Just like booking a vacation or party coordinator or lawn service or whatever. There were clearly some misunderstandings. You canceled last minute. If the girl or agency has a policy stating they don't offer refunds for last minute cancellations or unused time, then the money is gone. You should have worked out the particulars better ahead of time to ensure there wouldn't be any misunderstandings. If however the woman offers partial refunds, or doesn't state clearly one way or another, or changed the agreed-on contract, then I think you have reason to complain. If the woman were a vacation agent or lawn service or party coordinator, you'd take her to small claims court right? Well, do so. She's a professional entertainer. Treat her like any other professional, good or bad.
But dude, you've gotta stop using debt. I don't care whether you're borrowing for hookers or blow or the cable TV bill. Stop. Cut yourself off.
Me, I'm still a newbie, having only been in this hobby since October. I've made several mistakes, one of which cost me money. The difference? I LEARNED FROM THEM, AND DIDN'T REPEAT THEM. You, sir, seem either unable or unwilling to do that, and what's more, you cop an attitude whenever someone tries to steer you in the right direction.
Normally, I get frustrated and angry whenever I see forum members act like assholes towards somebody (behavior that is often tolerated by the mods, but that's a different topic altogether), but in your case, I'll make an exception. You are a deluded fool, one who can't/won't learn from his mistakes and acts pissy when confronted, and you deserve every ounce of derision that comes your way.
Do yourself a favor and leave this hobby, since you're pathologically unable to do it right. Do US a favor and leave TER, thereby sparing us your attitude and stupidity. Your entertainment factor has long since vanished.

It seems you don't learn much from you mistakes. That 3K is gone. Sorry. I have done stupider things than what you posted but the difference is I learned from mine. You are destroying yourself to fill a void. I know what it is like to do that. I been there too. But you need to stop.
Don't repeat your destructive behavior until it destroys you. Please, seek help. We all need help to over get our issues from time to time. I know I did. This fantasy of having a real void filling GFE is not going to happen as this hobby is just that fantasy. It has no real power to ease your loneliness long term. You need to address this void causing this behavior. Get some quality professional help.
Really, you should not have been scammed but IF YOU HAD TAKEN PREVIOUS ADVICE THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!! (Yes, I'm Shouting). If you refuse to LEARN from your experiences, then you will be scammed again & again & yet again.
Do your research in advance, book when you are in town. Most of the hobby is cash on the spot... for good reason.
