I was discussing pictures of prostitutes as they appear on their advertisements.
Most faces that are blurred still show the facial features. Most often the prostitutes aren't smiling.
I guess you prefer negativity. I don't.
It makes ZERO sense to me to not have any pics where the gal is smiling.
Having a mix of pics, and showing themselves in different "lights" is the key, but to have a portfolio where 95% or more of the pics are very serious in nature tells me they don't fully understand how most guys in this realm think.
Some girls cant show their face so that I get, but to the girls who do show their face (something I have always recommended that they DONT do) or who do show their mouth, not smiling is potentially having them miss out a key part of the "connection" john demographic, imo.
Maybe they are thinking of you and all the "unique" posts on here when the photographer said "smile"?

To each his own, but I pity the man who thinks a smile is not sexy on a woman. For most, it's the best accessory in their wardrobe.

On the Photo Page,Grace Kelly from Atlanta gets a lot more votes than any other provider. She is not young, does not have the bests body etc. However, she has a killer SMILE. I mentioned this once before and got my ass handed to me. I expect nothing less this time so don't hold back.

To hang out with me from a distance and take candids while I am having fun with friends I'd be smiling. Factually, I can't stand having my picture taken and I am quite sure it shows through in my photos.
That is why I asked about the prostitutes who don't smile. I come away thinking that they are so unhappy to be servicing men, and being trafficked.

I had to learn how to position my face in addition to positioning my body in the pictures. When you show your face, you convey a lot more emotion, depth, and even personality. In fact, my best pictures have always been the ones with a little smile or 'happiness' coming through.
Now before I started showing my face, my shoots were primarily about the body. Its much more easier to get into a pose and have a photographer snap your body than your face.
Then again, I have always smiled . . . from IDs to mugshots. Lol
...that little cutie cannot not get the big guy to stop swinging, as in this clip. Lol!

I want to look tough and smart. I smile at everyone everywhere I go, and I get ripped off a lot because I have resting nice face. I don't want to come across as careless so people know to take me seriously. This is serious.
Really, I have tried to smile in many photo shoots, and the photographers don't understand why. They're trained not to have us smile. (It also causes facial lines and wrinkles, I think, which is hard with the lighting?)
This last photo shoot I smiled a lot. So those will be coming up soon. 
I agree that many well done smiley pics are more appealing than well-done non-smiley pics. I just looked at a bunch of pics and tried substituting in my mind's eye smiles for pouts, puckers and whatever was actually shown in the pic. The smiles still work and work very well (in my mind).
But people go for different looks and to send a variety of messages in their pics. Here's a combo smiley AND cross-eyed
Why do supermodels don't smile in their pictures but we have to? Doesn't seem people have a problem when supermodel do their catwalk or never smile in pictures....yet they're beautiful !

In this line of work, the pictures does not come off like a driver license or a picture on a business card. Plus most are blurred. There's no point really. After all, do men like bitches more or "nice girls" ...? LOL !
