Dental Dams go way back and were then repurposed for DATY. I'm not sure if DATY Dams are thinner than Dental Dams but lots of people use Dental Dams that you can buy at Walmart or any other kink-free store.

...but I disliked it IMMENSELY. Most providers have just dove right in (muff dive!) and never asked me if I wanted to use one. I didn't complain too much, lol. There's an AMP I visit fairly regularly where the girls use saran wrap on all their customers, female or male. I will usually tell them not to bother and just use their fingers to get the job done 😉

I am actually so sensitive that bare DATY is usually uncomfortable. A dental dam takes the edge off just enough to where I can actually enjoy myself. It’s honestly a wonderful way to tell who wants to do it to genuinely give me pleasure - those clients are excited to do what I’m saying works for me, and they love how responsive I am.

I like SancDams - they’re much thinner than the ones made for dentistry.
