I suck dick for a living. It's a very lucrative business for girls who have the patience to wait for an old man to pass away. The benefit package highly surpasses any offered by even Wallstreet Banking Firms.You can't crash my party i'm sorry. OSP doesn't bat switch hitter(is that the term).

For me its not how much I make but how I manage what I have.  I have a SO so I can't just grab a few $$$ out of the bank to spend on a date.  I don't make tons of money but my hobby doesn't take food off the table either, the important thing is that you (and your wallet) control hobbying not the other way around.

My paycheck never pays for the hobby, it's the extra money I come across that goes into a slush fund.  I travel a bit on business so reimbursements for cash expenditures, a bonus here or there, a win at the casino, etc...fuel the fire...its not my income from work per se.

How does anyone make money?
So much depends on how a person conducts their lives, right? what their daily monetary needs are, what extras they value as necessary.

I was flown to visit a nice fellow who had a decent house with barely anything in it except for a nice TV and a toothbrush.  I think he had 4 pairs of pants and 3 shirts.. haha and older average make and model car.
We went to eat at McDonalds and did some cost efficient (free) things together during my stay.
Yet he was single, retired at 40-ish, ponder what next career to pursue and (by his own admission) the way he likes to 'date' was exclusively by hiring ladies. My guess is he liked to save his money and did one hell of a good job at it.  But does everyone want to live his way?  

Very few (if anyone) has the means to do it all.. have every desire fulfilled.
We all make choices.

Some people who work minimum wage manage to put their kids thru college.  How?  Rice and beans, no bottled water, no fancy house, no new clothes...  I admire those people with such dedication and control and would love to master more of those skills.

If you're asking how you can have ALL the things you desire (?)  ha ha  The board is a place to fantasize.. .ha ha !! dream away.

My Career

Isn't very lucrative but I managed to save and invest.  Also, I'm very selective with my indiscretions.  Plus, I sort of do the Clark Howard thing of not buying useless things, i.e, bottled water, expensive coffee, expensive cars, etc...

I live comfortably and have been a fairly successful real estate investor.  

In the early going in the my hobby, I was spending $800 to $1200 per week.  Now that the flesh is a little weaker, I don't hobby as often.

You'll figure it out.  I didn't even start hobbying until I was 50 years old.  You're getting an early start so you better figure out a way to pay for it.  It'll get you hooked.

So it's pretty much the usual array of businessmen and professionals; both of which catagories I belong to.

I suppose there's the odd lucky bastard who inherited a pile from dear old dad, God bless 'em.

I shit you not. Have my own show on the local TV station. I kick back on my boat, occasionally have a celebrity join me while we drink beer and talk about fishing and shit.

You won't hear about the shit and see the beer drinking because, well, it is supposed to be a family friendly show.

And seeing as how I'm not the most family friendly personality, let's just say my devastatingly handsome good-looks might have something to do with the high ratings with the ladies demographics.

One of my goals is to get my investments to the point where they will support hobby and of course retirement. Like others have written, I choose my expenses carefully. If you can manage to get into the habit of saving regularly and skimming off just the excess for fun, you'll do well.

Don't take the fish stories on here on face value.  Many guys and ladies exagerate.  No, the horror!)

Don't add up lots of littel pieces of reality from different posters and assume it represents a "typical" person.  Many of us write about the "exception" parts of our lives, not the mundane.  If 50 guys write about having overnights with a top end provider don't assume any of them did it 50 times.

Something you won't see discussed much at all is some guys who have many dates do so with a small number of providers, and after a number of dates they often reach an aggangement of some kind that reduces the price per date.  NOT something to even think about early in your career here.  By "a number of dates" I mean a lot more than 3 or 4, though it can happen with a low number in some instances.  I have bartered my services for hers in some cases, but again that kind of thing is only available after trust exists.

Finally, I'm guessing the typical age distribution of society does not hold here.  I'd bet the typical heavy poster here is much older than you think (among the guys).  Don't try to measure your situation in your 20s with a guy in his 50s or 60s who is single or whose kids are grown.  It can make you feel financially shortchanged in this business, but it is not oft a valid comparison.

I am just a poor dumb farmer.

When not busy doing other stuff.

It breaks down like this.

75% is total Bullshit

15% is the sawdust to cover up the Bullshit

5% have to scrape up pennies for months for a 1/2 hour date.

3%  Can actually come up with and justify the money to see a lady for 2 or more hours on a monthly basis

1% can see ladies on a weekly basis without going broke in 6 months

1%  Actually can afford to do what they say they do, and of that 1% 1/4 actually do what they say they do!  

My job provides a steady source of income (as in I won't get fired in any recession).  However, that's not where i get hobby money. That goes to retirement and savings.

I have a vacation house. And renting that gives me extra income of around $1200 per month. That goes to hobby money, or at least part of it.

I live in an area where you can get great ladies for $100 - $150 Half Hour.  I'm satisfied with one pop and half-hours are satisfactory for me.  So, I can see ladies once or twice a week and it's not a problem.  

Just make sure you have savings for retirement.

If you're working for someone else there's always a limit to how much you can make. I don't like limits.

I'm the guy that you look away from when you see him at work, because you think he's some    dumb schmuck wiping the seats, and mopping the floors in the rest room.
I make my provider money by collecting your  DNA and turn it into a synthetic version I sell to the North Koreans, and they are making clone robots out you..

Like they say, it's about how you manage your money.  Go for good value and not the most expensive cow in the barn.  I'd love to visit these gorgeous vixens every day but that just isn't practical.  Also, I'm not looking to ditch the SO just yet so this is a nice getaway to manage my needs.  Stop worrying about making money for this and just make that money.  Who knows you might get that dream girl you want and not have a need for TER at all!

I usually ask the guy what he does and I dunno if it's me but I attract A LOT of IT/computer guys but I have some who works for the DC areas metrobus/train line, construction, accountant, paper delivery, works at FEDEX, works for USPS. So mine is a mix from sorta blue collar up to making mid-6 figs.

Just budget what you can afford, then chose how to spend it; I budget between 5-10K annually, with excess above the minimum dependant upon bonus income; that averages out to a minimum of 400/month, (one 250 visit, one AMP/PV at 150; alternatively see my ATF for 450), to a potential of 800/month (one ATF at 450, one new experience at 300), and if I'm under budget one month,I carry the excess to the next.  You have to pick and chose, lately I prefer to stick with my ATF and opt for longer sessions, so I'm down to once every other month or so.  This is below 5% of my annual income, so cost of my hobby is no different than if I were a golfer or played the horses, but its what gives me pleasure.
