Would you continue to hobby or stop hobbying ?

I don't want people to get mad at me.

Let me be the one to ask those types of questions.
Of course we would stop hobbying  while that person is sick. I think it would be hard to do it or servicing somebody while you are fighting the virus. Probably you wouldn't even feel like doing it.
Ok next question.

heh heh

first light my hair on fire, then run around the room until I was bald, and THEN do the things you said.  He's always been kind of worrier.

Would you continue to hobby or stop hobbying ?
1. IF a hobbyist or a provider you know came DOWN with covid-19 ... that is, became infected and tested positive and posted that info on TER or Facebook or Twitter ... we wouldn't know if they got it from hobbying or from a doorknob at church.  But that would still show the ease of transmission and should be a warning to maintain social distancing.
.
2. IF a hobbyist or a provider you know came OVER with covid-19 ... that is, if someone showed at a meeting BCD and said, "BTW, I recently tested positive for Covid-19 but I feel OK and thought I'd come over anyway." That is a dangerous, inconsiderate person to show up and only tell you upon arrival (presumably).  There are laws in some locations about deliberately or knowingly spreading disease.  Police are arresting whackos who are licking shelf items in Walmarts (and then posting their videos as proof of that).  One guy was charged with terrorism and some other offenses.
.
3. IF a hobbyist or a provider you know CAME with covid-19 ... that is, a hobbyist ejaculated or orgasmed while testing positive for Covid-19.  My reaction depends on Who, Who With, When, Where, How. I'll cut to the worst cases (any one other than SOLO), and I think that still falls into the realm of criminal activity.
.
I could probably come up with a few more meanings.

After testing positive there's a mandatory home or hospital quarantine.  You can be almost guaranteed that any provider showing up to your house has not tested positive.

Which of course means that the other 300+ MILLION people in this country don't have a clue as to whether or not they have the virus or not.

Yes, the chances of any provider showing up at your house having tested positive are astronomical, but that's not the same thing as saying that the chances of her actually carrying the virus are just as long.

Personally, in my part of the country at least the risk is low enough to be acceptable to me, also considering I live alone, I don't have any "old people" or other high risk people that I might pass it to and even though I am over sixty I am in perfect health with the immune system of a twenty year old. Others who aren't similarly situated might feel otherwise about the risk.

As I too am over sixty with high blood pressure I am pretty sure with my blood alcohol level no self respecting germ or "virus" would survive in my system.

I have just put into stock three 1.75 bottles of a very nice vodka. That should last me for nearly a week. I will begin to worry if the blood level of my alcohol stream increases to a critical level.

I'm with all three of you fucking degenerative drunks. People at work (yes, I'm one of the 'essential' people that get to go to work because we service 'essential' our essential clients) ask me if I'm scared of contracting this virus...

I tell them, 'Fuck no! All the alcohol i drink kills any and all germs!'

They think I'm fucking kidding, but I can't remember when the last time I got fucking sick.

Of course a can't fucking talk like that cuz HR would crawl up my fucking ass, but it's the fucking truth.

I show up to work hungover but know it's only temporary.

In the immortal words of Dean Martin, 'I feel sorry for people that don't drink. Cuz when they wake up that's as good as they're gonna feel all day'...!

But if you get gonoherpasyphilaids, ain't no amount of vodka gonna cure that shit! :D

I would politely ask them to keep whatever it was they brought the virus in when they came tightly closed and to take it with them as they left.

Answering the question you probably intended to ask, I don't know. That would depend on:
1) Do I think I have already been infected -- if so yes, I'm just really not a sharer.
2) Do I think it's changed the chances that I will contract the infection if I do continue, maybe I stop. I'm not being that active now so....
3) Hypothetical answer -- what does the person think their risk is IF they get infected. For those that believe they will only get a mild case and in a couple of weeks be fine, why would they stop?

True, and hopefully they find out that it doesn’t effect our balls either but those findings won’t be complete for a long time.
