1) It's up to her; I definitely prefer some feedback, audible and other, and I want to be able to hear it. But consistent and sustained "loud" strikes me as being rather like the guys at the gym who have to make a LOT of noise while their lifting their weights -- seems like it more about noticing them, rather than focusing on the task at hand.

2) Audible, consistent feedback throughout our play time; maybe an exclamation or two -- but not what I would consider "loud." She knows that I'm enjoying what we're up to and there's no doubt about the outcome -- but I don't generally want the neighbors to know what we're up to. Especially if it's dark and we're in the pool!

When I first got into the hobby world I expected quiet on both counts.  But as I spent more and more time with different ladies I was exposed to many ladies who would moan and very quietly encourage me.  I on the other hand would remain quite passive vocally.  One particular lady friend had given me a nickname of "ninja".  Just very recently I spent time with a lady who was quite vocal and spewed a whole lot of dirty talk during the session.  I was quite surprised at this, but at the same time was awfully turned on by this (and encouraged her to keep up with this).  As for myself, I am beginning to come out of my shell and am now verbalizing more and more.  However, not yet getting to the point of dirty talk, but that is my aim at this point.  I would be curious to know how the ladies like to hear it back?  Romantic chatter or bold and dirty explicit talk?

Since more of my trysts are in hotel rooms and are often very late night, the volume level must be controlled.

1. I like my partner to be vocal but not loud. was surprised the first time a provider talked dirty, my ex was definitely the silent type.

2. I tend to be quiet, but with the right provocation can string together compound cursewords with the best of 'em.

Had some that were loud, some not so much. I can be loud, sometimes not.

Just as long as mission is accomplished, I'm all good!

I like getting some vocal feedback but sometimes that's not necessary.

What I don't like is a lady who is loud even though she's not really that into it.

I am loud, but it depends on what my partner sounds like when he reaches the O as to whether or not I like him being loud.

I had one gentleman that snorted when I helped him achieve the O. He continuously did it for about 3-4 min. afterward. It made me laugh but it made the manager come to our door. LOL!

I do like to hear a little something from the guy at least. I feel like he's not enjoying himself if there's silence on his end. I'm kinda medium on my own noise. I either get louder when having an orgasm or occasionally I get pretty quiet.

The answer for both is sometimes loud sometimes quiet, it all depends on my mood and location at that particular moment in time.

my 2 answers...

I myself am usually pretty quiet.  My partners I do like to make noise, some good moaning does turn me on. Just can't sound too phony.

1) I prefer any partner I'm with to be genuine in all her reactions. I don't expect a provider to actually be into it with me and that's OK, I just want her to be nice about it and to try to make me feel good. Fake moans turn me off since it's like she's announcing "I'm putting on a show now! And I expect you to think this is real since you're a guy!" I've also been with enough civilian gfs and FWBs to identify some things that only providers seem to do. Women's (and men's) orgasms are often pretty subtle things -- a whole-body tensing, rather than a thrashing seizure. I can't remember any civilian woman I've been with clenching her internal muscles when she came either, but I do remember providers who thought I expected it.

2) Depends. I like to talk dirty actually, though more so with a civilian who enjoys it too.

I like noise to the extreme so long as we have that "connection". I personally don't make much noise, but I love it when my provider makes some noise, they can make enough noise that the whole building can hear!
