Does this question many seem to always ask have an impact on your date?

and I never have.  But you, who claim to be so sensitive to the needs of providers, fail to realize they need to do what's necessary to feel safe, and that's one way to do it.  No two girls screen exactly the same way. Feeling safe is their right.  They are about to get in the same room with someone bigger and stronger.  And it's your right not to provide that info and move on.  It's really pretty simple.  I have found plenty of ways to offer them enough information so they are comfortable seeing me and have never been turned down.  And it's really not that hard.

I typically ask "What do you roughly do for a living"... why? Because it makes great conversation and for me, it is interesting. Any guy that doesn't want to say, no big deal. Never happened though. I like learning new things. You guys always ask me personal things ... Do you do anything beyond this? What types of jobs have you had? Any children etc. All sorts of things being asked about me. So I only feel it is fair.  

I don't do it for digging on your personal life, but rather great conversation. I don't ask where you work but rather what type of work.  

I loved talking to a Doctor. I have the brains for that career but not the stomach/heart. So to me it is interesting.

Personal favorite? Talking with the Lawyers. I can hold my own reasonably with them. I missed my calling

His situation re not wanting an employment check is understandable.  So, yes, it sucks to be him, but for an entirely different reason.  It sucks to be ass-calade because he's a monumental tool.

But I ask almost everyone I happen to have a conversation with.  Yesterday I met a school teacher and a train mechanic. These are non~hobby guys that were in line at dunkin donuts. I am in Boston A LOT and see these guys 4-5 days p wk. We have talked about random bs a few times. So what's the harm in asking?

Don’t believe any reputable providers is going to call you HR and  

“ I am an escort and I have request from Joe Blo for date, does he work there?" "Is he safe to see?”. If you work for a small company, different issue altogether.

Right.  Hookers aren't that dumb.  They call the switchboard and say it's some dentist's office reminding you of an appointment.

truly what you do, I'm sure, but they're trying to come up with things to say so there's not uncomfortable silence for you after the sex. Also some guys say they like conversational escorts, so they're making conversation. I would just tell them a) something fake if you don't want to discuss what you do. If you've always wanted to be a doctor, go for it! b) the general field you work in OR c) that you'd rather not talk about such trivial matters and would rather have your lips on hers like NOW...pull her close to you and have fun!
