TER can make it happen if they choose. This would not be a difficult programming feature to apply. It is simply a matter as GND pointed out if management's chooses to implement a change.
Just read the post complaining about pic posts clogging up this board and pushing discussion posts off the front page. I'm referencing a post by GND in which she explains why Staff isn't in favor of using forum technology that would 'bump' a topic to the top of the page once someone ads a new post to the thread. Besides long threads that would never die, she also mentions that ads would also clog things up. I have two suggestions that would alleviate both. First, cap each thread at say 30 posts. If it's all that interesting someone can open a new thread. Second, make ads locked threads. If someone has a question, they can PM the provider. Thoughts?

I've explained some of the reasons why TER has chosen to keep its current format. If you would like to discuss this further, pose your suggestion on the Suggestions and Policy Board,
