I am fooking freezing!

This post has fuck all to do with the hobby but I’m posting it anyway...I am god damn freezing here in the UK. It’s minus 5 and I’ve dealt with a lot worse than that in Boston (and Minnesota!) but I never felt as chilled through as I do here...what the hell?
If hell has finally frozen over I’ve got one bizarre week coming up 🤣....

May I suggest . . . .

Hawaii?  I just got back last Saturday, and it was in the low 70's (about 22 for you, I believe).  There was some rain, but not enough to spoil the beach time or other activities.

It feels especially cold for you in the UK because "it's a damp cold."  And maybe because buildings aren't as well insulted from the cold as they as are in the, uh, Northern Colonies.  :)

Right now it's cold where I am, but I'm fine with cold and snow this time of year.  But by February I've had enough of it, so at that point where would l like to fly off to?   I dunno... someplace sunny and warm, on a beach.  With an unlimited supply of good tequila, and preferably in the company of a sexy woman who also enjoys the beach.

Significantly milder today...

....at 1 degree Celsius. It’s going to be a damn long winter I fear. Time to start thinking seriously about where my first holiday of next year will be in March. The US would be have been my first choice but for now it’s out of the question so Cape Verde, Gran Canaria and Tenerife are looking good so far....
