Are you saying that threads are being deleted by the mods? Or complaining that people are allowed to request removal of their own threads or posts? Or just annoyed that some people post topics you think are stupid?

I have not really noticed the first happening, the second certainly happens and just did a couple minutes ago when someone thought better of their whiny post complaining about being picked on. The third I think that you just need to get over.

Sorry, but certain posters actually make this place FUN! If not for them, the entire board would be a walking threAD with people begging for business, and ISOs. I agree that the hijacking gets out of hand, but mods would have fixed that...they are gone now, so it is what it is. No one HAS to post here, so it's a bit retarded to complain. If you don't like the board, leave. Done deal. It's not like any of us are being paid by the word...well maybe, lol.

I just love the "stop picking on me" threads that have increased over the past few weeks. Really...get a life!

Many aspects were lost with the removal of active Mods, particularly Mods who understood the hobby and the players,

But the MOST important aspect was the centralized responsive decision maker that members could get feedback from on the mod decisions being made. Most of us were more than approachable for sn explanation through PM.

Now, there is no person to go to for an explanation.  If you happen to get one, it's more than likely from just one out of many faceless staff members that could have made the decision, and the explanation will change with whoever sees the inquiry in the queue.

This leads to members bringing their venting and rants to the board itself,  which, of course,  gives no satisfaction.

and I don't mean the cutie that comes over on Friday night to watch the kids.

That really is the heart of my complaint. I don't give a rats ass about the posts that I consider  lame or redundant, obviously I can just skip them unless I want to mix it up with the others who are poking fun and so on. It is the inability to post about or link to the real world, having to play silly games to dance around an issue, and also the arbitrary removal of posts and, as you point out, the inability to get a straight and logical reason for things. It feels like it reduces discussion to only those redundant questions and inane arguments, while shutting out real and interesting topics. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
