Theres a really hot provider coming to my neck of the woods next week, problem is she is only in town for 2 days and on the second day she is leaving town.  Her location is roughly 2 hours away, so it would be an am session.  Problem is in my area there tends to be a lot of traffic and being that the second day is a checkout day, I don't want to either make an appointment and run late or be rushed with a half-assed session.  Note, I have some daily responsibilities that I have to make sure get done before I can get on the road, otherwise I would just wake up in the am and make it there no problem.  Sort of a conundrum here, any advice?

If you really want to see her and since it sounds like your timing isn't too far off, you could:

Get up in the AM early and handle your daily responsibilities earlier allowing you to hit the road sooner.

Message her and see if she'd be OK with requesting a late checkout.  A lot of places allow this.  She might be OK with this if it means a session vs. no session.

She is in town Sunday and Monday, Sunday I have my kid and Monday is school, I have to drop him off at the bus stop at 8 so I can't get around that, then get on the road and possibly be there by 10 or 10:30.  I contacted her assistant and she said that said lady can possible ask the hotel for a late checkout, which all hotels do.  Appreciate the advice.

without batting an eye. At my fav out of town hotels I'll get 2pm every time. If she flew in, it's basically when her flight departs is the most important piece of the equation.

talk to your little head..he will let you know..

Is it really worth driving two hours for what would be a fairly short visit? Do you think there's zero chance of her coming back? I'd wait until she returns. If you just *have to* have her, you can always inquire as to what it would cost you either to have her adjust her travel plans or fly her back out. There's always a way to get what you want, it just happens to cost $$$.

I was on the way to se a Fav Lady...  I was on the Interstate & the sky opened up bringing traffic to a stop litterally.  I knew I was tight & tried to keep going but it was impossible to drive.  I was stopped in the high speed lane when I finally got through to her...  at the time I ishould have been arriving.  (I'd been trying for a half hour or more.)   If I'd have kept going at that point, I'd have arrived with 10 minutes left (or less).
She was gracious.  I learned a lesson & rescheduled a day or 2 later.  Had a great time.  I now plan to arrive with time to spare, then withdraw to the corner coffee shop, timing my return.  I can usually find one within sight or nearly so...  so it works great.

You need a generous time window when you can be "off the grid".

Oh, another thing...  those security questions...  I don't EVER use the correct answers that others might be able to figure out.  That's how many accounts are breeched.  Can't ever be to careful.
