I am surprised that someone would ask you a question like that. I know before I see a provider I go to her site and check the prices. Very surprising considering how much the cost of living is in NY/NJ.

Fore they think with their dicks and not their brains. Even in the age of the internet, some men lack the neccessities and you wonder why they even get out of bed.

People think that they can negotiate "I will not negotiate my price"

Worked in the public sector and taught too long....  my patience for such is WAY toooooo short.

But there is also the flip side, the provider who posts:

Susie Smith, a long legged, busty blond will be in town for three days.  She is the true GFE and positively adores balding men in their late 50's who have a paunche.  Especially when they are totally boring and really need a shower and breath mint when they show up in their polyester stretch pants and Izod knit shirt with the sweat stains under the arms....   so for a great time, gimme a call.

Please when calling do not mention money or specific sexual activities.  Such inquiries will result in my hanging up on you immediately...

And there is 1) no number or email listed and 2) no price whatsoever in the post, or on their web site!  Please ladies!  these are essentials!  please list them!

Look at both sides of the coin. Rates are constantly changing. I look at reviews on this site and know damn well that the profile states rates that are not current. I also know of a few providers here in SoCal that are well reviewed (and are frequent posters on these boards), that have different rates listed on different advertising sites. What are we, as the hobbyist, supposed to do in these situations?

I'm not advocating asking rates, but, there can be some confusion on our end. I would not like to be in the position of leaving less than the expected rate in an envelope when I thought I was in the right.

Thos who ask me are more then likely calling from an add out there and all they did was see your picture and wrote down your #. Even though all my adds clearly state to view my website for all information. Most of them that are asking have no clue what a review board is. They goggled escort and clicked Eros, I am pretty sure that the men of this board are not the ones asking these silly questions. I simply redirect them and most of the time never hear from them again. This is one reason I hardly answer my phone, and my VM clearly states that they will have better luck e-mailing me from my site. Yet my VM box is always full and I never answer them. So the legit men of the board are lost in the VM porthole and then complain that we never answer our phones.

I get alot of guys who call from my Eros ad & then ask my rate which is on the ad! Usually when someone asks my rate, I refer them to my website. I have to agree that is annoying when it is posted all over the place.

Also, why do so many guys make a date and then ask about GFE, etc when it's in the reviews? I have had that happen way too many times. One guy scheduled a 3 hr date the other day & after giving his info for screening, asked if foreplay was going to be a problem. Hello, am I really supposed to answer that? Geez.

I like when gentlemen read my website/ads before contacting me and don't ask too many silly questions.

How much time I'm expecting how much money I will pay.  That's standard with me.  Up till the agreement, I don't mention it.

I am often grandfathered.  I have to go by my memory of the donation level in the past.  I am not going in there hoping she remembers the same numbers that I do.    

Sorry if it seems poor etiquette, but I think it's important to recite the precise understanding before the session.

Although most ladies do put their rates on their websites some ladies have websites with no rates or when you go to their rates page it simply asks you to inquire about rates.  

It is not unheard of for ladies to advertise under different names on different websites with different rates in order to capture as many hobbying $$$ as possible.  In fact that is almost exactly what one well-known provider said when it was noticed that she was advertising in several different places under different names with different rates.  

I agree with Zinaval that the place to look for a lady’s rates is on her website and those rates should be good.  I can understand why he feels the need to confirm those rates because we have had a few incidents in the past where the ladies were raising their rates but had not updated them on their website.

I don’t think that using the rates from the provider’s reviews are as reliable as her website.  However I know of a few ladies who always requested that TER change the rates on their reviews when they made a change in their pricing structure on their websites.  Within a day or two it seemed like their review profile was also updated to reflect their new pricing structure.  From a business standpoint that seemed like a great idea but I am not sure that many providers actually bother to do this.

It has been mentioned but I want to re-mention it. It works BOTH ways. Guys should check the web site, and ladies POST your donations. I have seen some sites that do not post price/donations at all. For these women I just move on because it isn't worth the headache.

Then you have the PSE where the lady has her main site....for guys wanting a PSE what do you guys do? Some of the ladies do ask that you call to "set things up." Do Pornstars not really care about talking price? Just thought I'd add to the discussion. If this has been asked forgive me I haven't read every single thread.

First, I wish that TER reviews, like a couple of other sites, mentioned the specific amount paid for that session plus the particulars (1 hr, 2 hr, Greek, etc).  That would at least give an idea of what the most recent donation amount is plus a fair idea of services rendered.
Second, many providers I've seen either don't want reviews (for a variety of reasons, the most common being that YMMV and may not want to do certain things with some future client(s) that she did with a prior client(s) OR have requested gory details be left out for the same reason.  Either way, I just do the review as I feel I'm not doing right by my brother hobbyists
