Guys, what do you do when you come across one of those gals that doesn't mention her rate on any website profile or ads?

What do you do when she offers you a special multi-hour rate, and then avoids telling you what it is until last minute?

Gals, what on earth possesses you to do this?

If she's insanely hot, I'll email and ask. Otherwise, it's a no from me

Especially if she has glamour shots.  I assume she is a HDH, and if I have to ask, I can’t afford it.

I haven’t been offered a multi hour discount at the last minute. Maybe she had a cancellation and wanted to keep you longer.  Still a bit shady, but at least you could benefit.

I would post a link to her website and provide her name. Are you sure you looked everywhere for the price?

It is one of many sales tactics, this being "don't be the first to offer the price". For example, you're thinking $600 an hour, she's thinking $300.  You throw out $500, thinking you're getting a discount. She would be like, hmmmm, I think I can make it work - let me think about it. After making you wait and thinking you bid too low, she comes back with in this case I can make it work. Both parties are happy.

I personally would skip, too many fish in the sea.

There's a sucker born every minute.

I'm not one, and don't you be one too.

This girl is BEGGING you to negotiate!

Expert Advice:

1) Make her go first.

2) Your counter should be no more than 40% less than you want to really end up at.

3) Be prepared to walk away.

If she isn’t up front about her rate, which is a pretty key detail, what else is she hiding?
No. Just no.

I don't want all the back and forth.  I have never experienced a "last minute" deal.  Can you provide an example?

Are the adult Search/skipthegames crowd (in other words, the classic "backpage girl)." If I'm fishing in that arena, I just ask how many roses they need. As for multi hour discounts, I can't afford multi hour dates in the first place, so I've never had to deal with that.

I've never seen a hidden price for anything turn out to be a bargain.  It is always higher than others.  That's why they keep it hidden.  They rely on buyer momentum.

They 'll hee haw about it and I'll just say straight out, "Hey XX, to avoid any embarrassing or an uncomfortable situation, what will the be the donation to the XX fund of higher learning".
Then they'll usually come up with a number by then..and depending how exasperated I became over the situation, then I'll decide if I want to pull the trigger.

If I can't find the donation amount I move on.

I would not wait for her to make the first move.

If she really does not have a rate listed and doesn't mention it leading up to setting a time and date, I would mention that I am used to donating x for the experience she described in her ad. If you wait for her,  then you are negotiating.  My way gives her the chance to counter and no hard feelings if you renege if she comes back with 2x or 3x.

I don't work my business this way. I want a gent to know my rates so if he wants to book awesome if too much he chooses another lady.
Every lady is different on how she runs her business. Maybe this is just a side hustle for her and she works when she needs a certain amount of money. I really haven't heard of this with an exception of a b/s agency but even then they tell you what the "agency fee" is.
In my opinion that is what a website and/or ads are for so a gent is aware of rates.
That way no one's time is wasted for you or the lady. Did you try to google all contact info to see if there is any ads at one point that had rates?

I guess it depends on just how bad you want to see her. Sounds like too much back and forth and could potentially be some drama or a misunderstanding later during appt time.

and it worked out well for me. Pretty much the same rate I was expecting, once she told me what it was. All is good.

If not then why would anyone be spending this much time trying to find out what a completely unknown and unreviewed provider charges?

I can't believe that out of all the replies to this OP nobody seemed to remember that this is a review site and ALL reviewed providers have their donation listed, so if the girl has reviews all you have to do is ask if her TER "donations" are accurate and if she doesn't, well I agree with you, I just "move on"

That is true. However, for me it's more about the signal; it suggests I'm in for a lot of back and forth on price and service level -- in other words up-sells. I can use the reviews for that too but why. Too many other option which don't require the extra effort.

I'm a provider that lists donations whenever permitted (sometimes both in facts section AND text portion of ads). But more times than not, new gents that contact me through such platforms do not know my donation. For that reason, I do not final confirm an appointment until I know we are on the same page. So when I see so many replies here that gents are actually looking for such info in an ad, I was mildly surprised. Probably is a bias of this sample size of course in that y'all are informed consumers as reflected in you're being interested in an independent review site like TER (duh, Kacy :)
As I typed this I'm also thinking that putting aside ad respondents that only look at a providers pics and immediately hit her up without checking ad details, possibly those that act is if they don't know my donation are hoping I'll say a lesser amount or looking for a segue to negotiate it down. Hmm?
Warmest hugs,
Kacy TGirl

If I don't see a donation amount anywhere, I will do one of two things - 1)  Assume that it is too high for my bank account to recover from,  or 2)  E-mail her a general introduction and see if she responds with the rate.
