but Im sure it depends on the guy.  Im single and don't have anything to hide from anybody. A call might be awkward if I was eating dinner with family or something but I just wouldn't answer it if I saw who it was on caller ID.

I've also had a lady who I had never seen and called her and voice mail was full, so I couldn't leave a message, but she still called me back, which surpirsed me.

Question ...Miss Callers..Who Don't Leave a Voice Message...Whom I've Seen ...Should I Call Back?
What are your thoughts? Just Curious....

im not always free to talk, if i call when i am, you may return the call when i am not.   no biggie, as i usually turn off hobby phone.....but if i fogot and hobby pone rings away it could be annoying.   i would not be angry about a call cack, just think you would be wasting your time

I imagine the answer will fluctuate greatly depending on the individual. From my perspective, if the call was returned during business hours, I could make a better excuse, for the purpose of call. Evening hours would be uncomfortable.

I would like the call from you.

I had a lady that I had seen a few times for GFE....she called me unsolicited, as we did not have any pending business. So I politely returned her call. She was pissed that I called her (although her VM asked me to). .. and informed me I should have emailed her. I was offended, and never called her again.

Probably the safest for you is to not return call.

However, I and many others would love to have you call if we didn't leave message.

Happy Days for YOU :)

Definitely not!   If the caller did not leave a message, then he does not want to be called back.  Perhaps he was free to chat privately when he made the call but not a few minutes later.   It would not be proper to call back.   A quick email, if you had his addy, will be much better & private.

When I didn't use a hobby phone, returned phone calls or out of the blue texts had the potential to be life altering.

Now that I have a hobby phone it is not that big a deal.

Unless you know, I mean really know, that it would not cause a problem, calling back is a no-no. He will contact you when he is free.

One man's opinion

Personally, I always leave a message, telling her my name, and to call back between the hours of blank and blank.
It's just common courtesy, and if your not talking openly its just bussiness. Good thread. Finally, something about being a better provider or customer. Imho. Donnie.

all clients would think of it as common courtesy and do the same thing. Just also leave on our VM, "if you can't return this call within such & such time, please DO NOT call me back". EASY. We know the deal and I HATE getting soooooo many calls and never a VM. Especially at 3am when it says all over my ad and website that my hours are between such and such time!LOL Well that's another gripe.

JUST leave a DAMN message or say a time frame to chat or when you can call us back. Otherwise if it not the worthy leaving a message, it's not worth us meeting. DUH... and I am a natural BLONDE. who knew? *wink*

Thank you, thank you, thank you... now if everyone could just get that concept down, lol:)

If they want a call back or DON'T that that they should leave a message letting the lady know that so she doesn't have to wonder (so if he does prefer he doesn't get pissy if she doesn't call back...because we're mindreaders). THANK YOU.

Common courtesy doesn't change just 'cause of the hobby.

If you can't be called back during a certain timeframe, how f'ing hard is it to say so?  Act as if you were dealing with any other service professional...  be courteous and respectful of their time and you'll get better results :)

I usually leave a message too but if I don't I probably wouldn't like the call back, just means I would probably call back later.

that's practically the same as picking up. If the caller didn't want you to call back, he should have had the sense to leave a message saying so. Everybody knows their number is going to show up on your phone. However, I suppose the possibility that he had to suddenly end his call when his wife walked in shouldn't be ruled out.

Maybe you could reciprocate by calling back and letting it barely ring once before hanging up just to signal that you're now available to answer?

I would not call back unless they left a voicemail and left a time frame during which it was okay to call back. I'd rather err on the side of caution.
