I would like to say it's a great way to meet new friends

I'm just curious what the ladies think about the TER Messenger. I haven't actually used it yet, and I have no idea how popular it may or may not be. But I have my hunch.

So...

Ladies, do you think TER Messenger is:

A) A good way to handle quick logistics/scheduling stuff with guys
B) A fun diversion
C) Yet another time-waster
D) Likely to be abused by guys who would never actually schedule a session
E) Both C & D

Of course, use of an alias is understandable if you aren't in favor of using the messenger, but some of the guys you know would like you to.

Thanks!

but have not yet found that to be true. It's not up and running the way it should and I have yet to find many there to chat with.

It could be another time-waster if you don't check out who your chatting with first. It's to bad you couldn't click on the member name to see a date it was created. To many guys with no reviews are trying to reach me.

I'm still open to where it will go in the comming months..In the meantime it's a fun diversion..

Kisses Haley

Part of me likes that I can have "live" conversations with others.  I had screened a newbie and was still concerned about meeting him.  All references checked out, but I am always hesitant with someone new.  After talking to him extensively on here, I am now comfortable setting up an appt.

On the other hand, I have had men with no history on here try to ask detailed questions that I will not answer.

Plus, it can be fun way to not do housework.  :)

I know I'm not a lady.  LOL, but I had to throw out my thoughts on the TER Messenger.

I have to say that I'm not a fan primarily because it's "yet another IM client."  Don't get me wrong, I see the benefits and understand the reasoning behind it, but to be honest I find it to be poorly implemented and I just can't see myself using it anytime soon.

That being said, I don't think "all is lost."

1.  Instead of having the TER Messenger as a separate window (simulating a separate application), have it actually integrated with the TER site itself.

An example would be is how Facebook handles this.  I'm not trying to pimp Facebook here (personally, I abhor Facebook), but I think they got the "chat" portion down right.  All you see when you log onto the Facebook site is a little icon on the bottom right corner of your browser window which indicates which of your friends are online and available to chat.  It's unobtrusive, no separate window, and easily accessible and usable.

2.  Please get rid of the idea of ladies who are online to appear on the top of "new review" searches (or any search, I believe).  I find this to be something that is ready to be abused.  Besides, "online" or "not online" is a function of searching not a "preference" listing.  If I want to see who's online, I should be able to decide that, not the website.

Anyway, I see some benefit in the TER Messenger, but imho *very* poorly implemented.  I really hope they make some sort of more "elegant" changes to make it a more useful tool.

I'd like to suggest some other ways (hopefully even more fun) to keep you from doing housework!
