What would you like to do differently than what the current mods are doing?

and I were mod again for a week. I wouldn't even log onto TER unless they had wifi on the TER jet, because that is where I would spend the entire week, renewing my membership in the mile high club over and over again for the entire week.

And I would not pull threads on request bit only for rule violations. I wouldn't ban any besides those that pose a proven risk. But that is me.

TER has rules and I would enforce them when needed I would just have a looser hand at it.

One OP was so socially inept that a lot of his responses to threads were not only “flame posts” (as you call them) but off target/off the wall to the thread. With his flame post it brought in other OPs to flame his responses (and before you knew it), it was back and forth name calling and the integrity of a thread was lost. Participation was there, but the nonsense was a nuisance. It also continued to annoy when repeated in other posts. (Perhaps participation then tailed off?) This is just one example, but then I understood why trees and even threads were closed when one initiates and another responds and it spirals out of control over something foolish or hurt egos.

And I was trying to clarify. Given I break the law for fun (the hobby) it is strange that I tend to be a rules guy. I tend to hate censorship but feel some rules need to exist to allow all to be heard. TER has such rules. If I was a mod here I would enforce said rules but I would interpret them as liberally as possible while following them and when it is nessary I would enforce them with the aim curbing behavior that disrupts more so than trying to punish or ban. Basically I would have a lighter hand than current TER mods.
