...but I guiltlessly have had an abortion due to an abusive situation. I was fine for three weeks, then realized what I did. A feeling one can never know until they've been there.
I was highly encouraged to do it bc I was very sick as well, had no way to support myself at the time, and the father abused his own child.
If I could go back, which I can't, I would fight to have that baby now. It's been a year and 1/2 and I still can't verbally talk about it without starting to lose it emotionally.
While I don't judge others, that's why I'll never do it. I feel a mother would die for her child if she saw him/her run in front of a car. If (if) I could go back, I'd hire lawyers, do this if I knew it existed back then, and raise that damned child on my own without telling the dip shit.

Good point. I would figure she would go talk to which ever one broke the condom, and then go get tested. Beyond that, it would be hard to tell unless she was low volume. If she knew she got pregnant around a certain time frame, she could narrow it down.

I support a woman's right to choose, and an individual's decision, but if it were me, well, I loved being pregnant, I love babies, I love children. But I can't have any more, so it is a non-issue.

I learned the hard way that it is the woman's call as to whether she has the child - I get that. I had a woman tell me after the fact that she aborted our child because she didn't want me complicating things, and it was an empty feeling that haunts me to this day - but I do feel it was totally her right to do that. Life is complicated.
That said, if I were to have a vote and the lady said she wanted to keep the child, I'm in. I'd be there, and I'd be the best father I could. Like I found by being a parent, at least for me there is nothing better. The parents don't need to be together, they don't need to have a relationship, but they do need to give their child everything they've got.
So I guess my short answer is - I'll be there. Obviously I speak for no one but me.

it's pretty much up to the woman what she wants to do with her body. I would prefer to see her carry to term for adoption. I good home with parents looking for a baby to raise from birth would give the child a great chance at a good life. Especially since s/he would be attractive and extremely intelligent.
