Remember saying that as a child?
I personally,,wanted to be a physician.
Anyone else care to chime in?

I'm still trying to decide cause I haven't grown up yet!! I'm having too much fun being a 58-year old kid.

I would choose a sport related occupation. :)

If I couldn't make the cut I would want to be a Sports Announcer. Get me in that Locker Room!!

Seems an unusual career objective.

Resigned myself to that quite some time ago. I'll continue to pretend that I'm grown up from 9 to 5.

There are just too many ways to play to take the rest of my life too seriously. I have 5 grandbabies to play with. There are also many ladies I still need to play with, especially the ones that I need to play with "again".

and you're exactly right. Play all grown up and responsible at work, or when dealing with serious things, and enjoy life like it was not going to last forever the rest of the time. Because it won't. The older I become, the *more* I try to enjoy - to grab all the gusto I can.

I wanted to be a Major League baseball player.  When I was a teenager, after making numerous errors in the field, and being undersized, I realized the truth.  So, I became an accountant.  And a damned good one at that.  Cannot complain about my life professionally, make decent $$$, can hobby when I want to, travel when I want to, but still wish I could hit a HR at Yankee Stadium just once...

Once I discovered snow skiing, I wanted to become a ski bum.  Now I'm just a bum LOL

When I grow up I like to be ME, Risk taker, honest, and "Not give a fuck about anything that may bother may) ( I asked someone to tase me once, and he did!)
Lived my life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it, because "I DID IT MY WAY" and never hurt anyone.

you saw on the Saturday afternoon movies who figured out a way to stop the 'monster of the week', and who gets the leading lady in the end as well.

Hmmm. No monsters, but lots of fun researching with the Leading Ladies here. :-)

I never quite made it even after taking 12 years of piano lessons.

I did get to play with Pincas Zuckerman once thought.

(OK, it wasn't the piano, it was soccer, but it sounds good.)

I wanted to be an astronaut.  And have sex with lots of women.  At least I made it to the second part!!!

But then, I always was a perv.  I wanted to see under the girls clothes.  ;-)

as the song ends...

"My name is Ted... and one day... I'll be dead, YO-YO!"

And seriously, still looking forward to meeting the fine young lady who gets this tune dedication in my review of our time together...

oddly enough, I wanted to be a mommy mainly and live a fulfilled happy life. Also wanted to be a farmer, horse ranch maybe.
Now by the time I was lets say, 12 I guess, I wanted to be a temptress, seductress i'd say, as well as living on a farm I don't know how tempting that would be, some farm boys I knew were hot back then. Sometimes we get what we want. No farm though (yet) but life is still damn good!
