hobbying, I noticed a number of stages:
1. Before: insecurity, I would ask myself if I really wanted to do this, spend the money, take the risk, etc.
2. During: when good it was spectacular, when OK, it was wonderful, when bad: I can remember "bad"  happening only twice in the last few decades.
3. After: exhilaration.  Very happy and satisfied.  In a celebratory mood. What you, my friend, correctly identify as being awash in endorphins
4. Forever after: If is was very good, the date  take a small place in my enormous and growing library of pleasant memories for re examination and pleasure which come at odd times without warning.

Going to Vegas. Land at 1:40pm, go to hotel, get situated, find drinkables for my lady friend and I. Hopefully rest a little and get all nice and clean for said lady for a 5pm date.

I'm sure it'll make for a fine review....!!!

Usually, I go back to the office.....

and you're right - its the last place I really *want* to be after a nice session. However, the best time for me for quick dates is an extended lunch break. And it has the added value of causing me to *skip* the lunch as well.

The ladies of the office are pretty much onto me and get a kick out of my endorphin glazed expression and pheromone soaked ambience when I return to work. Funny - my administrative assistant *always* picks those times to flirt with me lol....

But I *really* enjoy it when I have the opportunity to spend an evening with a favorite lady.....

I eat. I am usually hungry after a session.
If my session is in the evening, or night, I may also go out for a drink.

I feel regret.......

regret that it is over and I have to leave.

but i never go back to work.

i go home pretty happy, put on some appropriae music and open a bottle of wine or pour a good cognac.

if there is a review in the offing i make notes for it, perhaps write a draft. sometimes i just write a private celebratory memorial of the experience, savoring the memory.

for me it is all about collecting the most exquisite possible memories before i enter that last check-out line. so preserving the quality and nuance of those memories is very important to me. i could get kind of cranky when that is interfered with.

in the next few days at work folks wonder that i seem to be a boy wonder once again. LOL!

I always make sure to send a follow-up e-mail expressing my appreciation.  This is a sure sign to the lady that I would see them them again if the opportunity arises...

Agree with you on hating to have to go back to work, or wherever, after a great session.  That is why most of my games are scheduled in the evening.  I enjoy being pretty much useless afterwards; I just want to hang out, have a few brewskies, and bask in the afterglow.  If I have to go back to work, or on to other scheduled activities afterwards, the experience sort of gets lost.

afterwards about half the time, since the ladies have gone 'off the clock' with me. So the 'session' is technically over.

I do my 'visits' during the week, and always have the day off. Since I Like the late morning dates, my afternoons are always free. More recently, I let the ladies know my plans, and some have joined me in a light lunch, and depending on the city I am in, a visit to a museum, stroll in Central Park, walking around the Washingotn Mall, etc. Or we've grabbed a snack, found a park bench, and chatted further on things I'm researching, travel, health, music, or whatever interests them. It's a nice relaxed time with no pressure. (And for me, it can be even hotter seeing her out in her regular clothes, knowing what we just shared so intimately.)

On days when I have the afternoon to myself, I usually hit a museum or two and take a nice walk, before heading back home. I find having the whole day off allows me to savour the memories more, and also enjoy her lingering scent longer.

Their burgers are so frigging good, I should just skip the session, head to Apple Pan first and save the hobby fee.

If it a day time appointment I usually go to Gym for a  work out. If it a nighttime appointment I go home and have a snack (pizza) and catch up on TV I miss with TiVo.

I usually have a nice leisurely drive to the city I am working in the next day.

Friday, however, my mind was so totally blown after a session with an exceptional lady that I signed up for grad school.  WTF?

I guess my endorphins felt I needed a little more education to keep up with this well read lady.  I hope the tuition doesn't interfere with the more important aspects of my life ( my hobby ).

I take my ATF out to dinner then we go back to my hotel (we do out call).  I give her a hug, a kiss and a thank you. She drives off.  Then I go up to my room and jerk off...Sometimes two or three times...before going to bed.

and I sleep like a baby.
