Weight loss drugs and providers...

Curious to know if you've noticed your regulars are losing weight, and probably on drugs like Ozempic, etc. Providers - any of you trying these out?

Haven't done any in depth analysis but I think the increase in rates has been highest with spinners. Many are now 1k+ on p411 vs say 500-900 for "curvy" or less for BBW.  With these drugs running $1000 per month (and price drops coming) would seem such an investment would pay back with just a few engagements per month.

I weigh 129 lbs right now today & I workout regularly. Diet and exercise is all that’s needed no drugs. I was following a provider when on X who takes it regularly to be skinny and to each their own.

I love food! I love cooking & eating!

Quite a few have turned to GLP-1s because they know that skinniness is a huge currency in this industry and they know you will pay more for skinnier providers, so their rates will go up significantly.

Personally, I wouldn't take them unless I was diabetic, which the drugs were intended for and the research is based on. The side effects are too risky for me for casual weight loss. I'll stick with being active, doing pilates, and eating good, nutritious food.

But to each their own.

I had someone in my family undergo surgery to remove excess fats. Compared to that ozempic and alts are a pretty good solution. To each their own tho. Every medicine has its pros and cons

One had gained a little weight after getting of Blow. Worked well on her body, but she started getting lower appearance scores. I suspect it was "ozempic face."

Another, couldn't have weighed more than 105 lbs to start, and less than 20% body fat. Tried wearing a weighted outfit to the MD to qualify. Some girls will risk their health to be skinny.

I don't see it being a differentiator in pricing. Lots of spinners/slim/fit providers out there under $800/hr. If you don't mind K-orgs, then it's under $400.

just about everyone. About 74% of Americans are considered overweight or obese. The market for these drugs is huge - much more than a provider or a few can account for. I doubt GLP-1 drugs are responsible for rate increases to any significant extent.

The “link” appears to represent detection bias, ie, more thyroid screening in patients starting this class of medications vs others.

Lost 50 lbs.  Gained half of it back after.  So, diet and exercise are the real deal.  Nothing has changed that.

I would not be surprised if many providers use methods to stay in shape.  Same with models, it's their body that makes them money.

I know someone who started taking a GLP-1 and then got Thyroid cancer. I know this is anecdotal but… I’d advise caution. It just seems to convenient.
