I was communicating with a lady here to set something up a few weeks later. We had exchanged emails and emails here on TER.She was leaving for vacation and said when she got back she would EMAIL me and let me know she is back and confirm our appt time.

Well I waited and waited and heard nothing, so I sent and email to her and she states, OH I thought you were going to call me when you got in. I had emailed to her that it was ok and maybe another time. Then I found the email she had sent me. I sent an email that had copied her email stating she would email me back and the proceeded to call me basically a liar and said she didnt remember sending it.

Just a bit irked this morning, since we had exchanged several emails here and regular email.

Oh well, her loss.....
More great ladies here and wont let it be a reflection of the rest here.

not a week but a day. That's what i'm getting right now. She truly might have thought that and did not deliberately lie to you.

My first correspondence with anyone I attach at the bottom of the letter this note

" Please keep all our contacts together so we may follow our journey till we meet."

I get so many that have no clue what i'm trying to say. It's all I can do sometimes to keep things straight and answer my phone messages. We need to advertise but with it comes a lot of work.

Summer is here and along with good times come kids at home, vacation and many other things to do. You may have a thick book for your to do lists but some ladies don't and have a hard time keeping track. You may want us to be business professionals and in most cases we are but actually where pleasure providers who sometimes need a little help with our office.Would you want to share your information more ?

I would have just scheduled the appointment for the best available time.

The lady I like the best blew off 3 hour date one saturday night, without so much as a text. It was too late to find someone else, but after she sent me an apology, we rescheduled, and it was the best time I have ever had with an escort, by a mile.

They're fun, exciting, passionate, sexy, but sometimes not good with details.

They have a lot going on in their lives, jobs, schools, pets, houses, kids, families, drama etc.  Having that excitement is part of why they are good at entertaining us.

I know that getting back to me isn't that important to her.

I contact the ladies I date to confirm a few days before, the morning of, and when I am on my way to the appointment.

I don't get worked about things like that like that at all. It just happens.

I don't have space to create folders for when to email whom & I can't keep up with it all myself all the time.

I try not to be high maintenance & I like the same!

A few days ago, a lady posting here stated that she sees 10 gents daily. I have no idea if this is typical and don't really care. Likely she's an extreme case, but she illustrates a point. Specifically, she illustrates that providers can be very busy.

Consider what a provider has to go through for every appointment. There is the initial contact, then maybe contacting a couple of providers for references, then maybe some other screening, then getting back to you and arranging stuff. Plus providing references for prior clients.

Now, multiply that by the number of customers in a day, week or month. It is a DAUNTING task even for an extremely low volume provider. Once you get up into medium volume, you are talking about a full time job just to keep up with correspondence.

You may recall that a lot of providers have on their websites that you can't use them as a reference if it has been more than a couple of months because their memory might be a bit foggy to recall you individually. This is because, in general, you are a *customer* and NOT a "lover" in any special sense. Just in terms of sheer numbers, the provider is likely a lot more special and memorable to you than vice versa. That's not a slam, just a matter of numbers.

So it is quite possible that the provider had a tremendous amount going on in terms of correspondence. Probably as much oversight as anything else.

I've sent a PM to a lady, then followed up with an email, and have heard nothing. I first contacted her last Friday, and wanted to see her this Friday.  Her loss, I'm seeing someone else this coming Friday. I try not to let this type of situation bother me, I just move on!

She made a simple mistake, that kind of thing happens all the time, just a failure to communicate.

Calling her out on it and than calling her a liar here says more about you.

.....are inundated with emails and calls etc...  Some of us are quite good at time management. Even still, we are human and can make mistakes. I have gotten my wires crossed a few times, forgotten an appt once or twice. Very rare but it can happen.

Haven't you ever had a doctor's appt or something of that sort where they forgot to write you in or something? Are they 'liars'? Sheesh, hostile was correct in saying that your post says more about you than the provider that made a mistake. Forgive her for not being a robot with a computer chip for a brain. Hell, even computers make mistakes.

My computer makes mistakes on a pretty regular basis. As long as they keep believing that, I'll keep using it.

So she forgot a freaking email and you get irked enough to post it on the GD?

Once a worksheet is defined, it is so easy to maintain.
Contact name.
most recent contact date.
contact type (phone,email)
contact info.
status (initial contact, being verified, verified, meeting scheduled).
date of the upcoming meeting.
length of meeting.
reference contacts.

maybe one or two more columns as needed.

password protect the document.

delete lines for men already seen if you don't want to keep the info for security reasons.

A week of doing this and it becomes second nature. I deal with hundreds of emails a day in my job. Yeah, maybe I'm more of a 'government secretary' but I never lose or misplace data this way.

We aren't in a brick and mortar business with a desk a to-do list and set hours.  I know some girls are better at the admin than others and I am one of the ones that are good at it but I make mistakes every now and then too and you probably don't want your name, number and/or e-mail addy scratched on a pad somewhere to remind her.  Miscommunication is very easy and especially if you require a whole lot of e-mail service before you get to your appt.  You might want to manage your expectations a bit - I'm just sayin'.

It more often takes ONE back and forth to get an appointment booked. Two or three if you need to be screened and she has to come back to you for not including everything or not providing the proper info or if you are a bit tough to schedule.  I like the fact you got in touch weeks in advance but you might want to make it easier on you both by communicating as succinctly as possible.

yeah but do you take care of the house, kids, dog, laundry. husband all at the same time in one day every day. Some of the ladies here do. So your simple spreadsheet is fabulous in theory. Throw in all these other
things in with it and see how well you do in Never losing or missing something. Just a thought. Cheers Livie

Like I said Her loss in meeting me, not the loss of donation, as we at times a dime a dozen, but to meet a real gem is hard !

So you think you're a real gem....Hmmmm. There are plenty of real gems to go around and I'm sure she's not boo hooing in her coffee for missing the opportunity to meet you...as fabulous as you think you are.

I love spreadsheets and I use two for this environment...both encrypted.

Isn't the typical provider response to this kind of question:

"I don't save any of my clients' information.  Right after the appointment, I burn everything.  References?  Oh, I simply memorize every detail about every client.  Cross-examination after potential arrest?  I have a cyanide capsule under my tongue for just such occasions.  Just have to be careful during BJs."

Obviously, I am just having a little fun, but I have always wondered about the veracity of these types of responses.  I always figured a spreadsheet or database would be ideal for this kind of thing.

I'm sure your clients are glad that you had the foresight to encrypt your files.  I wonder how many providers think to do that?
