Who is more discourteous or rude, clients or providers?  Is it courteous for a provider to ignore overtures of a client, especially one with whom they've had visits?  Is it good manners for a client who excuses himself out of an appoitment never to call the provider again?

I was always taught that to ignore another person is the height of insult.  Do you think this way?

Yeah.. that comes naturally for me.

Provider and client always need to be nice with one another. The two don't always click and though they have clicked in the past doesn't mean it will always be that way.  Neither should ignore the other.  If it has ceased to click, a nice communication that you've moved on, etc. should be forthrightly communicated.  If ther provider would rather not see a client, why not the provider say, this is not going to work out with us?  To act is another person doesn't exist or is a non-person is the most rude treatment.
