If I were to plan an extended (24 hour) date with a special lady, it would include a spending a day or two at Walt Disney World.

Maybe I'm a kid at heart, but, I just love doing Epcot, Wild Animal Kingdom, MGM, and The Magic Kingdom with a special lady.

Being able to play at one of the parks then swing back to the hotel room for some R+R, then back to one of the other parks sounds like fun to me.

Maybe one of these days.

Had a small private cabin in the mountains with easy access to walking trails, hot tub, awesome views. Plenty of time for us to enjoy everything at hand and cook a good dinner. Waking up to a sunrise in the loft with floor-to-ceiling windows was truly wonderful. Can't wait to do something similar soon!

If it's a city date, I think it'd be great to spend some time at a museum, play for a bit, out for dinner and then some live music, back to the room, which hopefully has more than jsut a bed, for more play.

a great spa with excellent masseuses, a great restaurant, a beach, scenic vistas to tour and maybe even some interesting shops.

Then again, being in a great city with world class museums and theater would also be fun.

Fly out to a remote section of the country... and either helecopter ski... then get picked up... romantic dinner by the fireside... with lots of massages to those worked muscles....

Alternatively, a nice long bike trek... with same end game...


And finally, there is a place I know in the "inland empire" - camp in tent only... fly fish... and well, have the "outdoors experience"!  All, of course in broad daylight... with the aroma of the pines wafting about.... and the campfire going....   ummm!  

But I just don't do overnights... so alas... probably won't happen.

As for Strip Clubs - done that with a PS provider....

Shows... Done that too - and that was really fun... picked the perfect gal for that - and must do again.

Parties... done that as well, and again picked the perfect gal... had a great time!!!!!

I'm going to say that it's nigh impossible to have a "romantic" 24 hour date without great danger of boredom... an all-day date needs to be something active.

(i) Head out early to someplace gorgeous for a day of hiking (or rock climbing if you're both fit); Cloudland Canyon in North Georgia during autumn for example, or any of dozen places out West. Hike one leg in the morning, settle down to a nice lunch with a view, then after the second leg retire to a lodge (nothing is more luxurious than a hot shower after a day's hiking), go out for a nice dinner, then get romantic later.

(ii) Fly to an island! I have a Cessna 210 so it's easier for me, but a daylong outing I enjoy is to pack a picnic basket and fly from Atlanta to St George Island in the Gulf (about a 90-120 min flight) in the morning (and if it's her first Cessna flight that alone keeps her riveted ) then hit the beach (usually we're the only two there) and do the beach thing, have lunch, then later on the way back, land in Apalachicola for their famous oysters (an aphrodisiac!) then head back to Atlanta in the dark... and you haven't seen stars until you've seen them from a plane with all the lights off!

(iii) I second the earlier amusement park option - if she's fun (and you are) a day of rides and cotton candy is just great for the inner kid. Plus if you're a good shot you might win her a stuffed animal or two.

Really there are so many options... a day of sailing, a daylong horseback ride in some pretty place. The basic thing is it has to be active/outdoors - noone can stomach an entire day of restaurants and clubs.

My opinion anyway.
