A couple of weeks ago I left work early and visited one of my FBSM ladies. Unfortunately my SO came to the office and didn't find me there. When I got home she started asking where I was and what that scent coming from me was. I thought for a second and simply said "you know you always say I need to try new things, well, today I went for a massage". Her attitude completely changed and she was very impressed - going on about how most men wouldn't go get a massage (if she only knew! ha!)
Anyway, since then, whenever I want to make an appointment with a provider, I just tell her that I am going for a massage! Which is actually the truth.

she decides she'd like a massage, too!  Then you'd better have the name of a real masseuse or masseur to her to go to.  And you'd better have seen that person yourself a few times or the truth will come out anyway.

The other day I was planning on getting a hair cut so I splashed a bit of cologne on and headed out the door.
Got side tracked, skipped the hair cut, came home later.
Walked in the door and the SO said, "Where did you have to go that you needed cologne today?".
(in a joking sort of way)
Lesson learned.

I fish a lot so if I come home stinky I have a cover story.
But I don't think I could convince her that the fish was wearing perfume. (groan)

See if there is a Massage Envy where you live. There are tons of them out West. It's legit, book a few short appointments, then you'll have your tracks covered. So if the S/O wants to join you, you can take her there.

The one time I forgot to do that it cost me half of everything I owned, and a long string of monthly payments to remind me of my mistake.

I thought I was fast on my feet and came up with a good response, but I was totally blindsided and didn't quite pull it off.

If that's your usual excuse, she may become suspicious. For example, she may ask, "what message parlor did you go to", "what is their telephone number", and she may even check in to confirm that you visited that place at a particular place and time. Trust me, I had some SO that were all up in my ass.

WOW>...she has NO clue?  I find that had to beleive....wow
