How about a poll for how often your post disappears.  

It seems that everytime I try to become a more active member and share experiences or thoughts, something happens that makes me ask why.  The latest is the handling of the porn star board.  I had started posting there with some recent experiences and thoughts.  Today, I made a post about the blatant advertisement for a lady that has nothing to do with the hobby (a similar post had recently disappeared).  The post lasted less than 30 minutes on the board before disappearing but the ad is still there in all it's glory.

This type of control of the boards, as well as my comments on the reviews, is why I am doomed to be a lurker.  I will get what information I can from the boards but will share only when expressly requested by one of the ladies I know.

The chances are, I probably won't even have to worry about that.  Speaking out about something like this will probably only end up in my being banned from the boards.  Good luck guys, remember to take your grain of salt when reading posts.

I think that one of the posts that you are referring to was mine, and yes it was deleted off of the porn board sometime yesterday. I went back and read the FAQ about this site yesterday. The very first paragraph says that this site is about educating and helping clients find ladies in the "sex service" industry.

Now I don't know what the porn board moderator's definition of "sex service" industry is. But having women who are nothing more than nude models "spam" up our board with links to their sites to buy their videos, panties, or to sign on for a monthly membership to watch them clip thier toe nails, is not why I belong to this site.

Having said that, if they do offer escort services along with or on a seperate site, that is ok with me, if it's done in an attempt to enhance their visibility with their escort clients. But this is supposed to be an "escort" site, not a place for Mary Jane Cup Cake to post her pics looking to drum up traffic to her web site IMO. MfSD.

Only time I have ever had a post disappear is when the general thread it was in was removed, and that didnt happen often.

Dont know about the PS board in particular. I am not sure I have ever posted there. Most of my postings have been in the LA Board and here.

I enjoy the experience the PS board moderator brings to the table, however I find him to be lacking in communication skills.

If one disagrees with him he tends to take it personal  and he  will delete the post and moderate that person. Because of this, the PS board has turned into an "ISO" board and no real banter ever happens.

He made a big scene when he left TBD. He even quit after just a few days of moderating the porn star boards.

I actually like him, I just think he is a better participant than he is a moderator.

I didnt mean to imply that I didnt like the PS board (though maybe thats not how you took it either).

I do read it every now and then and the most general rule seems to be, dont just wander in and without reading anything, make a post asking if Asia Carrera escorts.

Moderating a board cant be easy and I probably wouldnt make a good one. Each board I guess will end up with its own personality with the moderator having a large influence.

Thanks for the back-channel support.  I guess being ignored is the best I will ever get from those running the board.

If anyone wants my opinion about a lady, look around for a link to one of my "real" email addresses (they have appeared on various boards, try TBD about a year ago, and some of the ladies yahoo clubs have them as well) to drop me a line.  I have a feeling that I won't be renewing as a "VIP" member here and won't be adding my thoughts to the boards.

When I was asked if I wanted to run the PSE board I was told that I could customize it with my rules as long as either GND and/or Staff approved it, which they have to this date. My first very post provided the ground rules I would run this particular site and asked if any of you were in disagreement with the way it was to be conducted to refrain from posting.

I have particularly being very specific with the ladies posting were I clearly stated that they could post away and were I have asked the gentlemen hobbyists to please respect them and since I want to continue seeing them post and new ones to join us I am moderating all reponses to their posts to make sure it is true. The issue with a particular Pornstar whose preference is women (There are female hobbyists for those that don’t think so and should be given equal opportunities) and that clearly stated such thing; This particular Pornstar in the past has tried posting and promoting her products, membership and other Spam’s that have been removed/never posted for the reasons you and others have stated. The reasons her most recent post remained were for the simple fact that she was showing her newest photos but her Spam info was edited FYI.

When several active readers attacked me in the past were I had decided to call it quits, all their posts remained and continue to remain there also but I have indeed removed others that I considered improper and unfounded. Other posts relating to LE or TBD have also been removed of never get to be posted for obvious reasons that do not need further clarifications.

I have taken the PSE board from a mere ISO’s and Rev’s to informative as you can see when browsing thru it. You readers have no clue of all the ridiculous, unfounded rumors that could jeopardize a women’s career and repetitive posts that never show on the boards that it is seems that those persons have nothing else to do but to harm both TER and the ladies (Perhaps jealous ex-partners). If these boards were un-moderated it would become worse that other similar boards because there are more readers and active participants on TER than on any other boards.

I know many of you might like me but most might hate/dislike me for the way I run the PSE board for FREE but those are my rules that were accepted by TER’s Management and I don’t need to explain myself here but I do so that those readers that aren’t aware of it understand my point of view. It is very easy to criticize ones work that is been done for Free w/o knowing what is truly going on.

I would not like to see either DrX (One I stood up to when a hobbyist was pressuring him to give out information that he did not want to give out to for which he appreciated my support), of MfSD  (one that has have met several ladies that I also met and that we both have helped when others have tried to discredit them), and last but not least Carlspackler (One that thanked me for guiding him on the right direction for meeting certain Asian Women were I provided him direct contacts with the providers and Agencies owners) to stop from participating but it is your choice gentlemen and if that is your final decision then good luck and thanks for contributing.

PS. I have learned in my real line of work to never answer when one is irritated but after sitting down, being calm and thinking about the situation. I took this time in responding to three valuable contributors of TER and particulary the PSE board in the best form I could.

You sound a bit defensive and self-righteous, I must say.  I will also say that I really don't doubt the integrity of the moderators here and respect them for the tough job they do.

I have posted some things to this site that were not derogatory in anyway, on the subject of the message area, yet were removed anyway.  One occasion was a guy asking if anyone had the current phone number for a provider, and I responded indicating that I thought he might be able to find it at another review site. Another time I posted a link to a website that had some models' photos available to the public. I asked if perhaps they were all providers and if anyone knew more about the site.  I find it hard to come up with any objective reasons for deleting either of these. I am convinced that some of these deletions are just accidents by weary moderators.

I hope you can appreciate how we can be frustrated with what appears to be overzealous moderating.
