A nice website and a few carefully placed ads here and there on this board may help, but if you insist on doing this business on the cheap, people may never discover you. CL is for trolls. Backpage is a lot worse. Eros, Date Check, Room Service are a few that are highly used, but all require investing in yourself. Think if you didn't have the internet? You might even join Escortblogs.net as a way to let your personality get out to an often and willing public. CL is for hoodrats, my dear.

I got most of my business from the ads I posted on craig's list Missouri. Now that  they shut down the adult section I'm out of most of my business!

I've spent the time since then placing ads on CV, ter, backpage, and GD... and I have yet to get any worthwhile responses from my ads.

I'm beginning to panick as my living expenses have gone up and I was relying on the money I made from CL to cover my expenses.

Does anyone know of any really good sites to post ads on? I know nothing could replace CL, but perhaps a close second would do.

As mention before a provider with no risk is a very high fear. Hobbists tend avoid them for various reasons.  What you're going to have to do is step from outside your comfort zone and leave the Missouri area and go on tour.

A lot of girls from what I've heard say, NE Washington DC, Baltimore MD, New York, New Jersey, Boston, Relaigh NC, and Los Angles CA are all really good locations to tour when escorting.

Since you have no reviews things will be slow for you. But what I do as a hobbist is look at providers history who have no reviews. What that means is I see how often you post reviews, and where you post them. Which means if you visted New Jersey, and Boston, and then go to Baltimore, don't delete your old reviews. Just let them stay up so we Hobbist know you're real, and that you travel.

Also make sure you deliver on during your sessions, so everyne knows you're worth it. Don't do anything crazy, just do a good job.

DT_lover is right, you need some reviews. For starters, get listed here. It may take you some time to get known on other sites. From what I understand Eros.com is good in some areas like DC but not so good in others like St. Louis. That doesn't stop top local providers and many touring ones from using it. Backpage.com in places like St. Louis is very busy, searched by locals and others and from what I understand many providers are having luck using it.  There is one directory you could advertise on at menintransit.com. They're really more of a database for conventions and conferences, but they have a directory where you can list your services as an adult service provider.  It has it's good and bad points. They require you to be a paid member before listing in their directory. Another good directory is openadultdirectory.com. As of the time I write this, they rank high with the search engines for some popular hobby related search terms. Try those places. Hope everything works out for you!

that you offer a discount to reviewers on review boards. that i think is OK. you DO NOT want to offer a discount to someone if they write you a review though. once reviewed and a "known quantity" things should improve. it might take a while.

You need a web site with a picture of some sort and your business email address. Post a thread on your local TER board with rates to attract a reviewer.
If you know a TER provider or reviewer who can vouch for you, then have them do so on your thread. P411, Date-Check and Eros are great as well. There maybe something as good in your local area, but as you found TER, use it.

Yes, it takes time.  No you can not violate the ad policy (Ter: 1 ad on local regional board per 7 days) but a bit of chit chat helps to display your personality or sense of humor...  can overcome lack of reviews for some.
I agree a web site is the biggest help.  Get rid of CL funny writing with funky letters.  Get good pictures...  Real pictures, show how your body looks from several angles.  Blurred face is ok too.  Not necessarily explicit.  State rates, give an idea of services.  Give an idea of your area location.  A free or low cost template site is fine.
Once you get reviewed, others see that "New Review" & it is advertizing all by itself.  To get reviewed you must fish in the review site pond.    
You can NOT let a client review from your computer or internet connection as TER can detect it & it looks like a self review...  You'd get banned for that.
