Why do some of you stop writing reviews?confused_smile

I notice many active members who have not wrote reviews in years. Why?

Inquiring minds want to know. Please & thank you.

To begin with, I have ALWAYS paid for VIP access, so I was never motivated to review to get free days. My first review back in 2008 remains "unapproved" so TER and I got off to a bad start in that regard. For the next twelve years I only wrote a review if I was requested to do so. I have always found it interesting (and annoying) how some reviewers get away with posting tripe (spelling errors and poor grammar included) while my first review remains "unapproved" because it wasn't specific enough for the lame approver in Minneapolis, but at least I took the time to proof read it before sending it forward. Since 2020 I tend to see the women I know and maybe 5 new ladies a year. None have ever requested a review, so I haven't posted any.

Like Mr5Mike, I became very frustrated with TER's review approval system. I've been here since the late 2000s, and before that I was very active on a local board in San Diego. I wrote lots of reviews on both sites, and I've paid for my access on TER for 10+ years. When TER returned from its USA hibernation I noticed that many of my reviews were nitpicked, while sloppy and overtly fake reviews got through (heck just today one of my favorites in Vegas got a review so fake that Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder noticed it, but the mods didn't). So, I reached the decision not to write reviews going forward unless (1) the lady asked me to, or (2) the service was so good or bad that I thought it needed to be called out. Frankly, it allows me to spend less time online, and doesn't affect my ability to hobby since I stick to tried and true favorites 99% of the time.

A few reasons…
.
1) Many providers have a no review policy. Why write reviews if many providers don’t want them?
2) Sometimes providers lash out or react negatively to reviews they don’t like. This can happen even if the review is mostly positive but contains one or two gentle criticisms.
3) Many providers don’t like reviewers and board customers. Don’t write reviews (but keep reading them) and you won’t be viewed negatively.
.
At a certain point for many clients it is just is not worth it. Most clients get nothing out of writing a review. The reviews help out other clients. However writing a review, even a positive one, is potentially risky and can get you on a provider’s bad side. There is no risk to reading a review.

That’s why Alias comes handy.  Honest reviews are super helpful to the community.   And majority mongers would not see providers with no reviews  or even worse - with  no review policy.

I use an alias but it doesn’t really protect you from what I’m talking about. Providers tend to use context and deductive reasoning to figure out who wrote a review, especially if they are low volume. Using an alias isn’t going to stop them from blowing up your phone or e-mail (or adding that phone/e-mail to a BL) once they figure out who left them a review. An alias does nothing in this situation if you screen with PII/RWI.

I was always worried how reviews could be used in an LE situation.  That proved to be valid in an infamous case in Seattle (from a different board) where reviews were part of the evidence against those convicted.

While I highly doubt that's ever happened with TER reviews, we have heard that LE does lurk here (but no proof that I know of)

Perhaps I'm too paranoid but just another layer of safety for my anxious mind ;-)

I stopped writing reviews because I was asked by ha few providers to not review them.  For instance one time a provider who was really good and seemed to be into what we were doing slid me inside her and rode me to completion inside her.  I thought this was just her thing but she contacted me and asked me to take my review down.  Apparently we were vibing and she actually was into it and that she normally doesn't provide FS and definitely not BBFS.  She didn't want guys to expect that so I had the review removed.

As somebody who is blind using a screen reader on my phone to access TER, I  can tell you that the form for reviews is no longer accessible. I am unable to complete a review independently, which is why I haven’t posted one in years. I’ve contacted T ER‘s customer service and their offer was to have them completed if I give them my password. No thanks.

The shorted version I have.  A few years back I had read some decent reviews of a gal on STG in my area.  That's not a platform I generally pay attn too unless I'm traveling in an area that isn't rep'd well by TER.  That said, some time opened up and it was spur of the moment.  The short version, when I got there she told me she needed to change hotels and like an idiot said i'd give her a ride as it was just a few blocks away.  During the process, I learn that she's a drug addict, carrying narcotics and a loaded firearm.

We pull in, gave her the rest of the fee and tell her to get checked in and text when she's ready and I'll be up.  She got out, took her shit out of the back seat and I was gone.

She texted shortly and I lied and told there was a hotel worker that wrote my plate down and made me nervous so I bailed.  Nice to meet you, keep the fee...maybe another time blah blah blah

The point of frustration is when I attempted to make a psa on the board about watching your ass around this one, they shut it down because mini reviews were no longer a thing and had to be submitted in review form.  So I wrote a review covering the whole thing and that a fee was paid and I gladly bailed out on a bat shit crazy and armed drug addict and they declined the review because no sex had occurred and technically, Not a review.

You found out in the car she was carrying narcotics and a fire arm and you still gave her the rest of her fee and were ready to complete the date?
Honestly, I think you're trolling here. In suggesting that, I'm actually giving you the benefit of the doubt that you're not as idiotic as you portray yourself here.
Please tell us you were just trolling.

First of all, this gal was rated just above mid range 6/7ish, supposedly sucked cock like a Hoover and she was pretty cheap.  $200/hr and she was one of the few that answered her phone for an immediate appointment.   Like I said, it was a spur of the moment thing after some time in my day opened up.  If you need to have more context to it, I live about 3 hours N of minneapolis and concluded my business early and preparing to go home.  However, had the time and an itch to scratch so....

The part where you confused yourself looking for a reason to take a shot at me was at the point I had given her the balance of the fee, I promptly got the fuck out of there.  Now, why did I give it to her.  Simple fucking answer, I wanted her out of my car as soon as possible without any questions or arguing about getting her fee.  I gladly wrote it off in order to get the fuck away from her and to the nearest car wash to remove any trace of her in my car.

....no "mini review" on the regional (mn) board allowed and review declined for lack of anything happening.  If you know where to find rejected reviews, and if "allowed", I'll happily drag it out and make it public.  Point me in the right direction!

....if I find that I can, I will.  I will say it was 2001 and I'm slightly off on a few details but the review matches what I wrote at about 95%.

Now you say it was "2001," or 24 years back.
Problem is "a few" is defined by AI Overview is: "A few years" isn't a specific number but generally means more than two, but not many, typically ranging from 3 to 5 years, though context can shift it, often implying a small, indefinite quantity that's more than a "couple" (2) but less than "several" (4-7+) years."
WTF?
Is there anything we can believe about your tale?

I noticed that as well.  Another type so have at it about that.  2021.  And I found the review and the post that was refused.  Now I'm looking thru the rules to see if I can repost.

You need to use better judgement & common sense. I am baffled. How did BigPapa call you out?

3 TER reviews you keep getting scammed.

At some point you have to realize you part of the problem. If you do your homework here on TER and pick a reputable person you won’t get scammed.

If it looks to good to be true, like playboy model it’s usually OF model, not a real escort.

....if it is me, I've nothing to do with any scam reviews being talked about here.  I posted about a potential safety alert that TER wouldn't allow to go thru, that's all.

365 plus days i have set aside a minimum of 60mintues to read this site. From Reviews to Discussions.

Page after page, one topic after another and for the most part they tend to read pretty much the same. Now don't get me wrong as there are some interesting reads and funny as well. After awhile you learn who you can trust and who you cant when it comes to reviews.

Speaking of reviews, 95% all read pretty much the same, Then again it seems kind of like a click of groups, Kgirls, Jgirls, AMP and FS, T-girls and so on all have sub-groups that private message you and compare notes.

Speaking for myself, I work hard alot say I dont need to work hard and as far as financially, I dont but i do and as i am older my body is just breaking down more and more everyday, So for me its really all about that massage, the slight brush here and there, the aromatic scent of a women focused on her craft. the way she moves and how much she enjoys what she does.

As someone who has traveled around the world for decades, I have found that women are simply stunning in their own way. I have seen some beautiful (non providers) on this planet in every shape and color. Crap,,, I,m getting off topic here..

Most of the reviews are the same, then I found that when you do a review you get pm'd from others asking questions or telling you about what they did with said provider and so on.. Not the last thing I want to know is the who, what where and the rest, I read the review, make up my mind, book the time and repete if I enjoyed it.

Being that i;m old as fuk and most of the time i finish myself off, the ladies totally understand and we have a good laugh.

Now, off topic here, The boards on this site, Yeah I,m new to the site but not to life and some of the threads are seriously funny with the name calling and pointing fingers and the such. It would be absolutely hilarious to watch some of you in a board room during a major take over involving big money with real players and by big money I mean Real money not just  10s of million but players that make more in minutes than most make in years.. It's a hobby, that turns into a hustle and becomes a habit. Enjoy my friends andreview or not, have funa nd tip well rebook often

And ter tells you they can't accept a review without a current ad? They can't take a webarchive link.

It can be very frustrating for us folks who visit girls who stay a short time at an agency and then bail or rebrand.

It can feel like you've wasted your time writing a review that can't be published because of lack of current ads yet we also can't write a mini on the girl because info should be in vip section. Talk about catch 22

Now we're stuck with a review that can only be published only on competing sites that don't require the ads to be current.

and the irony is that New Reviews are populated by Asian Agency providers who's name's change often and have generic fake photos. Likewise, AMP reviews seem to get published even though these girls rotate out and ads change on a weekly basis.

I guess you need to write that review in the hotel parking lot before they leave.

You ask a question that gets to about 10 guys (that live here and so of course they will see it) and a couple of stragglers and a few providers. What do you expect to learn from 0.001% of men that see escorts???
Better off just ask Mss Scarlet she will undoubtedly know the answer.
Me? I think it's because they don't want to. Period. Or they would, right?

You add no substance here on the boards with your bully tactics. Your infatuation with MsScarlette & myself is understandable. We’re pretty cool. Instead of posting bs, say something nice. 👍🏽

Three reasons, not of my own choosing. Pretty basic, too...

1) The pandemic.

2) My business took an enormous hit.

3) I'm getting older and increasingly living on a fixed income.

Believe me, should conditions improve and I'm still able, I'll be back out on the market. Entice me. :)

I stopped because it was this one provider I really wanted to see who would travel to Denver on a regular basis, she told me because of my reviews she scared to see me, claimed my reviews could ruin her reputation since she has built up a good reputation and clientele, so she refused to see me, don’t get me wrong I still will write a review if the provider I see wants me to but that’s the only way.

You say you will still write a review if the provider wants you to?  Do you then expect that she will ask you to review her?  Otherwise how would you know?

I sincerely appreciate reviews but I am not comfortable asking for them. I really try to create an intimate and meaningful experience in my encounters and I feel like asking for reviews somehow emphasizes a transactional aspect that I lije to downplay.

Like many others, I pay for access and only review if asked and the the provider was great. So many fake reviews these days, it takes a lot of time to try and figure out the real ones.  I would suggest TER does something similar to Amazon or other review sights. Somehow mark verified or paying customers from the others. AI is going to force them to do something, getting ahead of the curve would be smart IMO.
