I started out on a budget plan

That has not worked out for me.

Just curious if others have noticed any correlation between their hobby spending and week of the month?  I'm not  talking about a "paycheck cycle" issue (ie not having enough cash available until payday), but more about keeping spending at a reasonable level.

So, in my case, I try to keep to a monthly budget of between $1,000 and $1,200. I do sometimes spend more than this (up to $1,800), but I just don't like to.

If a favorite provider or one on my bucket list visits my city during Week 1 of the Month (ie the 1st through the 8th), I will likely see her two or even three times.  And in so doing, I will have spent between 50% to 75% of my total budget during Week 1 of the month.

On the other hand, by the time Week 4 of the Month (23rd to 30th) has arrived, my month-to-date spending will likely allow for only 1 visit with a favorite provider, assuming I want to stay with in my $1,000 to $1,200 budget.  I may decide to see her for a second visit , but I am less likely to do so because that second visit will put my over my budget.  And if it is a bucket list provider that I have not met before, I will likely not see her at all because I don't want to risk going over my budget on a provider that I'm not sure will be my cup of tea.

Anyone else have this same tendency

That has not worked out for me.

I am way too immature to deprive myself of the pleasure of a woman's company simply because I have spent "too much" that month. Truth be told, the thought never enters my mind.

I do keep a budget of sorts, but it's more of a "What did I spend?" rather than a "What can I spend" kind of deal.

It's a race to see which expires first:  My bank account or my dick.

Right now, the odds are 50/50.

Haha....well said.

LOL... I don't have any sort of budget... A few years ago I was paying well above my pay grade. Lot of it had to do with touring women that I had been talking to and would visit BOS more in the summer than the winter... No blame there. So if, I developed chemistry, I would feel obligated to blow my "budget" as opposed to be perceived as "talking shit with them & when it came to crunch time bail out"... I'm not that type.

So I would have to work harder after that. But never regretted that decision because I made a LOT of great choices. If she's gonna invest in touring, I won't bag out.

Now, since getting back in. I am more selective and go for long periods w/ out acting on it. So I have no budget to speak of. If things line up, I act.... If not.... I'm just fine

I can relate.  I feel "obligated" to see provider when she texts me that she's coming to town and asks if I want to make an appointment.  Hard for me to say no, even if I know it's going to blow my budget for the month.. ;)

After a while they will get the message.

Usually it's because I have a date scheduled for the time they are in my city, not because of budget.  Don't like schedule dates too close together.  I usually tell them I'd love to see them, but just can't this time.  Often times it's due to the fact that I didn't know she was coming to town and scheduled someone else.  That's happened several times with one of my fave traveling ladies.  She's been very understanding.  In fact, I had to decline making a date with her last week when she was here due to my cataract surgery.  Shit happens.

Take a look at this link. We hear tons of stories like this. While some have too much money even for all these celebs to spend, I doubt many do.

When we see a ton of money, it's easy to think, "I will always be able to make money," or, "I could never spend all of this in a million years."

Think again, my friends. Take a look at the link

The others who don't have a problem are pretty wealthy, they own their own companies etc and do what they want, etc. I suggest that you put your expenses in a spreadsheet and track them. That way you will have self reinforcement to stay with in budget. If you feel you have to go over budget have sex with the wife or your girl friend.

I have a 3 day rule, I will not have sex with a provider unless it has been at least 3 days since I have had sex with the girl friend/wife at at home.

I'm married and don't need extra marital enjoyment other than HE massage now. mi problema is that there ain't diddly squirt wothy of my time
