I stand corrected . . .

You and Stormy are right.  The examples I gave about Asking Admin were for AFTER they were approved.  If you click on the pencil, the draft will come back onto your screen, and as you say below, just delete all the text and it will not get approved.   I apologize for missing the fact that this was BEFORE approval.

During the blackout in the US, my reviews were getting approved in a matter of minutes, because there were so few being submitted, so I had to ask for them back in order to edit.  Since then, the pencil icon for editing has been up longer and so the edit feature is still active as long as its there.

How can you delete a review not yet approved?

Admin and tell them you would like to withdraw it for . . . . (reason).  I can't guarantee it will work.  I have only gotten them back for editing a few times when I realized I mixed up the details between two girls I was reviewing.  There were accommodating because its in their interests that the reviews be as accurate as possible.  It might depend on what your reason is.  With that said, once you hit "submit" the review is theirs, not yours anymore.

Granted I have not submitted a review in a few years so things may have changed. (On the other hand, I have been on TER long enough to know they don’t change very many things once they set it up a certain way.)

Anyway I recall that once you hit submit, you have an edit window until it gets approved and posted. This can be a matter of hours or up to 3 days. If that is still the case, once they approve it it is true that it is theirs, but not once you hit submit.  Hitting submit just puts it in their queue to be approved (or rejected), and gives you a window to edit, as many times as you want until they approve it. I believe every time you edit it, it will go back in the queue and it will take more time to get approved. I have edited some of my reviews while in the edit mode. I also once edited a review that has been approved and posted, but that one of course had to be done through communication with Admin and I needed a good reason.  I have never tried to delete a review but I imagine it should be easy if it is still in the edit mode which should be the case for the OP.

As long as you can still edit it (which you can do until it’s approved or rejected), edit the General Section to say only “PLEASE DELETE THIS REVIEW, IT WAS SUBMITTED IN ERROR” or something like that. Also you might want to put that in the Details section.  And Save.  Since it’s an invalid review, it will be rejected.

An excellent suggestion.

But I wondering if (or how many) some are now searching for such reviews that got approved so they can submit the problem report and get a little free VIP.

Sadly, they don’t seem to care about accuracy, anymore. They seem to be desperate for any reviews, no matter if You remembered new details after it was posted and would like to update it for accuracy. Sadly, sometimes I’ll remember things days or weeks later and Maybe I should’ve waited to review but I was feeling impulsive. It’s sad that I want to see the girl, again, to see if the second date would be way better as the first date had some off aspects due to timing and planning. I rushed into that date, i have no patience. But still, I tried updating the posted review and they wouldn’t let me swap. I guess they don’t care about accuracy, anymore.

If it’s still not approved, you should have an edit window. If that is the case, just try to physically delete all the text, and put “please delete” in it’s place. That might work. I think they have a minimum number of words required. You may just have to type “delete” x number of times to make the word count.  You can always contact admin also, using the “contact us” button and ask them to delete it, as CDL said.

If it is already approved you will definitely have to contact admin and ask them to delete it, and you have to have a really good reason. Once they post it they don’t like to edit or delete reviews, without a really good reason. If it’s still in the edit window I think you have a better chance.

Accuracy is a good reason, and if a posted review is inaccurate and missing details, They should allow an edit/update. Sadly, they don’t seem to care.

two fucking years ago, I'd venture to say the problem has been solved long ago.  There is no need to revive a two your old thread that asks a question that can be resolved in 48 yours.
