I like it, but

not on providers I see unless I don't have to return home.  One of the most enjoyable experiences is being able to return to a hotel room, knowing you will be alone, and have the scent of a sexy woman linger.  My ATF is an out of town trip for me, and i really enjoy seeing her the evening I arrive, then having her scent linger until I shower again (which unless I have to see people I know, I will often allow to remain by not showering so the scent reminds me of our fun the entire next day. Whether its the scent of perfume, or just the lingering scent of her pussy from a wet session of DATY, it adds to the experience when its feasible

But like most of thetime for me, I beleive most men prefer not, but it doesn't hurt to ask, especially if someone will be your last appointment of the day and you won't be perfumed for a subsequent appointment.

Just ask, I don't mind if a provider ask what i prefer, it fact its a nice option to have.

I also have an emergency plan for when I do have an encounter in my home town and she has perfume.  A membership in a local health club .where I keep a towel, soap, and spare shirt, underwear, just in case so I can stop by for a shower and change, leaving my perfume scented clothers to be taken to a laundry.  it does sometimes draw a strange look when you bring in one shirt, one pair of pants, and just one set of underpants, undershirt and socks.  its also a good reason for waering the standard business man's uniform of a white shirt - otherwiase it would look strange to come home in a different outfit that the one I left in.

OK, let me clarify that - I mean GOOD stinky, as in 'super expensive perfume' stinky.

Now, I've always erred on the side of caution when it comes to scents. I don't wear perfume, I don't burn incense, I offer unscented body wash for the gents - all because, as we ladies and some of you men know, there are women out there who could out track a bloodhound when it comes to unusual smells. So, since I know some clients like to boink and run, without an apres fun shower, I've always skipped perfume and stuck with 'out of the shower fresh' as my personal scent of choice.

Today, however, I met with someone who said he was 'disappointed' that I wasn't wearing perfume. He'd said he'd 'always imagined I was a perfume type of woman', which I am, but not when it might lead to divorce. It's left me wondering how many other men out there were disappointed I (or other perfume free providers) smelled like Lush Body wash and not Nina Ricci.

So, to sum up - perfume on providers, yeah or nay?

That's what I like best. I just don't care for the smell of heavy perfume, no matter what it costs. A nice faint scent is okay, but nothing overpowering.

Difficult question. I truly love a nice perfume on a lady, but you are quite right that you should not use it for the reasons you have stated. Perhaps the only thing you could do is ask when the appointment is being made.

Perhaps on your contact or appointment page a checklist of preferences?

Perfume-check
stockings-check
casual clothes-check
strappy shoes-check

etc etc etc, gents can check there preference and custom tailor there experience with you.....

I love a good perfume on a woman but I've gotten used to the fact that many gals who provide don't wear it for fear of tipping-off the spouse of a client.  I am happy as long as I can tell that the lady is freshly showered.

I agree, I'm divorced, but I sometimes have to go back to the office, which is full of women, and if I'v been with a lady with heavy perfume (which has happended and you can't wash it off), its a real problem for me.

Just stick to soap and and water b/f I get there.

Yes, the strong smell of perfume could drive me insane if too powerful......might wind up like Colonel Kurtz:) Prefer Irish spring clean.....

Either none or light body spray for me too.

Personally, I like a woman's natural scent best (see "The Joy of Sec" by Alex Comfort, MD) which is washed off by soap.  If bathing is required, as it often is then unscented only.

Many people are alergic to perfumes, my SO almost killed me with one & not much at that.  Then there's the fragrence risk...

I enjoy a mildly scented candle...  sets a nice mood.

I err on the side of caution and wear a favorite body spray that is very pleasant, but is not strong enough to rub off on a gentleman. However, there are a few gents I know who are free and single, and for these fellows, I know I can douse myself in the smell good stinky stuff of choice and not have to worry about it.

I like a nice scent on a woman.  But on a provider it can be bad news.  A wife or girlfriend will pick up on any lingering scent on their man.  Even without a lady wearing perfume, hobbyist need to be careful not to go home with the "scent of a woman" on himself.

or for that matter any time of day.

When I was married however, it was a no-no because my fun time was in the afternoon when I would have to return to work and then home.  Perfume definately tells a tale.

Now that I am divorced and have my play time on the weekends, I say bring it on.  DG is particularly nice.

I love the smell of perfume---the scent of Shalimar sends me back to a very special friend that I had--can't even talk about it here.  But currently, my wife has a nose that would solve every crime on Law and Order.  I avoid scents on a date, shower with water only, and even bring an extra shirt along to change into before I visit my ATF.  Then change back to the shirt  I left with in the AM.  Call me crazy, but....

a fresh-showered scent. (None of those scented bath bars either.) Since I am a pheromone lover, I don't like perfumes 'getting in the way'.

it should be the responsibility of the hobbyist to request perfume (if the provider is okay with it), because as has been documented on here, many, many people have an issue with wearing someone else's fragrance home to their SO.

For me, though, a good perfume (and I don't necessarily mean expensive...hell, lots of affordable good ones, and essential oil based sprays can be great, too!) can be an awesome aphrodisiac.  A real sensualist will be as affected by their sense of smell as any of their other senses.

but nothing matches later on smelling a females juices or sweat!

'Course I'm single so no bloodhounds at home.

I don't wear perfumes in my sessions because of the obvious reasons and I am allergic to many scents.

However, I do use essential oils in my tantra-ssages, a part of my sessions.

The oils get absorbed into the blood stream rather quickly.  It is part of the experience to be annointed with various scents. I have been trained in aromatherapy and try to customize my oils for individuals and various uses.

I use to use a lot of Rose Oil, but found my clients were falling in love with me.  hehe  One of the oils Cleopatra used to seduce her lovers was rose oil.

The intense association between emotions, sexual response, memory and the sense of smell can be explained by the fact that the olfactory system projects directly into the brain via the limbic system.

I could go on and on about aromatherapy and how it effects our daily lives. Interesting stuff!

I make a point of asking in advance for little or preferably no perfume for two reasons:

1. If it's a dinner date, I want to smell my food and wine, and

2. Often perfume sets off my allergies.  If I'm going to have to reach for a Kleenex, I'd much prefer it be for something other than my nose...

If I'm out of town, a subtle scent is nice. If I'm in town and going home afterwards, the unscented, freshly showered smell is the only way to go.

I am a vegan and the smell of perfume makes me ill.

My body cannot tolerate it, and if someone is wearing too much perfume, I start to sneeze uncontrollably.

That reminds me back in school days.. at gym class, we'd be in the locker room changing and girls would be spraying away body powder spray or whatnots, and I can't stop sneezing.
