I'm sitting here pondering what I have to do today. Then, like magic, I take a moment to see what's really important and we so often forget.

When I peer out my window, watching the rain drops hit the trees and bounce off, I visualize the moisture dancing together in unison. Then they dissipate onto the earth floor, absorbed by the lush greenery that folds succumbing to its weight.

I turn my right ear toward the window and hear birds singing lullabys to their offspring, while the melodies resonate through the mist that hovers over the trees, protruding gently toward the silver/grey sky. Pillowed cotton balls fill Heaven, and the angels push downward to earth filling the void as gifts from the Gods. With loving arms, they pass overhead slowly searching for a place to rest. Mother Nature is in fine tune and calls to her children with the wind, fluted horns that brush through the landscape that puts to rest all her tiny creatures dwelling in caves of yesteryear that few dare to trek upon.

Spring is desperately attempting to creep about and put winter to rest.
