she is however good looking, well built and interesting to talk with....  She also knows of my hobbying ways (I tell her, but I think she thinks I make stuff up...  as do you all).  Anyway we were talking about the state of her life and as we talked she commented that she needs to make money fast... She works part-time as a stripper, but really does not like that life... I commented that maybe she should try escorting... she replied that she likes sex, thinks it would be more fun.... BUT would only take good looking men as clients... or a very generous sugar daddy....

My question - anyone EVER hear of an escort who screens the guys for looks???   or what would ya do if the lady rejected you cause they thought you were not "up to their social status" which I could also see her doing....

guess it is good that my friend does not escort! eh???

My ATF was a dancer at the old Crazy Horse Too.  She took 'escort' clients very selectively and only after getting to know a guy from the club.  Given how incredibly gorgeous she was and the number of men who came on to her, she could be and was picky so yeah, along with $$$$$ she screened for her own security and for guys she had some attraction to.  Of course she had he luxury of meeting potential clients in person before opening up to being available for a date.

Obviously this only works for a lady not too interested in seeing a lot of customers.

Come to think of it, I think I HAVE seen escort ads requesting an email WITH A PICTURE for the first contact. I always assumed that the lady was screening for appearance to one degree or another.

I have seen a couple who requested not to be reviewed as they wanted to remain UTR. Those same couple also happened to ask me for picture identification. While I wouldn't consider any of the women I have seen "low-scale", these girls would certainly qualify as "upscale" escorts.

-Perhaps it was screening for looks?
-Maybe they just wanted to make sure the dude that showed up was the one they were chatting with?

I guess we could post false pics to to beat that one, as do some Providers...

I think that it is somewhat axiomatic that if escorts only saw guys who were 7s and above, the whole ball of wax would come apart PDQ.

Some gals won't see blacks,  or Indians, or orientals, or the very obese etc. Pics make it easy to blackball certain guys the provider deems undesirable.  The pics are not to see if you look like Brad Pitt.

The Hobby is a two-edged sword in many ways.  I'm reminded of the line (variously attributed to both Grouch Marx and Woody Allen) 'I wouldn't join any Country Club that would have ME for a member.'  
I don't see women that made me feel they were totally indiscriminate.  Color me silly but I do like to keep SOME illusion of 'the chase' whatever...    Yeah, I know they wouldn't look at me twice without the $$$ but its nice to know I meet some kind of threshold for attractiveness.  
And don't forget, just because a lady is an escort, doesn't mean she isn't stil a LADY and can turn down anyone for any reason.  Sure, lots of ladies won't see blacks (many of those women ARE black TOO - go figure), some won't see the exceptionally handicapped or obese.  Guess what?  As a client we get to pick who we want to see too!  So get over it!

For me it does not so if I am turned down for any reason, my ego is intact because I can still see women in he civvie world.  Its never is my money good enough? For some, I guess it is

Hey, we all have our preferences so why shouldn't she.  There are some good tips here.  She can meet and pick guys from the strip club.  I hear that providers rate some of us hobbyists so maybe she can check those out.  If she is as good looking as you post, she should be able to attract some good looking guys (hopefully for her they also have money).  However, if she doesn't have the personality to go along with the looks, or is no good in the sack, they are much less likely to repeat.  And that is a problem if they are hard to come by in the first place.

Although I don't have any proof, I had a NCNS at a pre-meeting at a coffee house a number of years ago.  Afterwards, the provider never returned my email or my phone calls although she continued to receive reviews for awhile.  The only thing I had could reasonably deduce was she saw me from outside the restaurant, didn't care for my physical appearance, and just left.   If it had just been "cold feet" for one reason or another, I thought I would have received an email with at least a lame excuse.

I typically ask for a picture from every client. I want to give my clients the best time possible, and I feel I could only do that if there's a mutual attraction. I'm not an actress. ;)
