I just found out that P411 will no longer send messages to Hushmail.  I have no issue with TER or other boards sending to hushmail but P411 has had persistent issues.
So now I need to add or change to a new email.  What is best - gmail, outlook.com, Zoho, Yahoo, etc.?

I personally like Fastmail..... but if you want to hang onto Hushmail, this is an option:

1. Set up a Gmail address and put it on your P411 account.
2. Make your Gmail forward all mail to your Hushmail address.

If you do this, all you need to do is monitor your Hushmail as usual. I did some testing of this method this week, and it appeared to work well.

Of course, if you don't mind getting rid of Hushmail all together, we suggest Gmail, Outlook, or Fastmail.

So sorry for this email hassle. :(

Always,
Gin

Hushmail suddenly starting bouncing our system mail as spam, so users are not getting their P411 mail. We have twisted ourselves in knots trying to find a solution on this end (with no positive result) while Hushmail support tells us things like "it's 100% your problem" and "we're too busy to look into it".

The reality is that we've now tried 3 different mail servers, 2 of them being huge companies that specialize in sending out mail, and we still cannot get our mail through to Hushmail. Every other email service is perfectly fine, it's only Hushmail, regardless of the server we send out mail through.

They have blocked P411 mail, specificly, for some unknown reason.

I can't tell you how infuriating this is, considering we exclusively recommended Hushmail for over 11 years, and they are now treating me like I'm some kind of moron when I contact them trying to resolve the issue. Anyway, that was venting a little ;) ...... I'm just so frustrated, and I feel terrible for our members who are going to be forced to use a different email provider for P411.

I just don't know what else to do, P411 is pointless unless you are able to receive email.

Always,
Gina

I guess it did make our conversation a bit out of context when you didn't get all the emails I sent.

A couple of hours after we finished our conversation, I got notice that two of my emails to you had been bounced.

No worries... we agreed on the main concern, once I finally figured out what that issue was. ;

I just switched to runbox.com.

- Supports PGP, extended validation
- located in Noreighway
- Free for under a gig (as my hobby email is)
- Used IMAP to xfer over the  contents of my Hushmail account, worked like a charm.

Looked at Protonmail. Know lots of people just love it, but it was a bit more expensive and harder to use, and no more secure
