ran across this on my local board, and thought it a good read.  Many on here do not do this, however, it does provide some perspective on the hobby.... What NOT to do...

For my way of thinking, you really do need to keep a perspective on the hobby.  Most of my escort friends will tell you that as well.  This guy let "something" in his brain get out of control...

a man's got to know his limitations. This guy must have missed the movie.

No matter if you are super rich to middle class to working class you need to keep attract of your expenses. Hobby spending comes from disposable income. One needs to keep a spreadsheet or use some type of accounting system to keep track of hobby spending.

I know I have had my splurges in the past but I have always taken a break to recover.

For those of you who are afraid to use spreadsheets on your computer at home you can use on on the web.

Did anyone look at the gallery in the agency's website?

I don't need a spread sheet!  I had a binge when I started & realized I could not keep doing that.

I hobby from current income.  NEVER from savings.  I pay the bills first.  If things get tight, I take a break.  I accumulate extra spending money & when the envolupe's ready, so am I.

my take is that this guy isn't a sex addict or an escort addict - he's an intimacy addict, and a dumb one.  From the article, it seemed that he spent more time and money trying to buy girls' affection than having sex.  He drove them around, took them to lunch, took them shopping.  But of course he chose exactly the girls whose real intimacy you can't buy.  He practically wore a sign saying "Take advantage of me!  Rob me!" So of course, they did.

It was certainly stupid to spend his life's savings on escorts.  But it was equally stupid to think he was going to have relationships with escorts he was paying for sex.  We've talked about this many times.  Maybe it happens sometimes, but you have to be out of your mind to have that as your plan.

to keep within a budget.  If you have to go into family expense funds (mortgage, utilites, food, etc.) to hobby, you have gone too far financially.

If you see well-reviewed ladies you are most likely not to run into a provider who is playing you for an ATM machine.
