A very misleading, misinformative, new review appeared on my profile today.  I am really amused by this one.  I am quoting from the review in question here:

"But let it be officially known, if there was ever any doubt, she is DEFINITELY NOT ASIAN. Regardless of her claiming to be being 20% Asian, or 25% Asian, Kim looks completely like a midwest girl, through and through. She's a white girl, a tiny bit roly-poly, and her personality is completely familiar, complete with the same kind of little-girl voice Vince Vaughn's squeeze from Wedding Crashers had. This is all fine with me. Maybe the oriental claim is just a selling point? I don't know. Who cares anyway, cause she's AMAZINGLY HOT!"


WTF!  This makes no sense!  This is absolutely hysterical!  First of all, I am HALF ASIAN, which calculates to 50% (last time I checked)!  One of my parents is white; and my other parent is Asian.  


Look at my (recent) picture below, and you can see how UNDENIABLY EURASIAN I look:

I've seen you Kim and I am quite certain that you are part Asian....and quite lovely!  I don't understand what makes guys like the idiot you are reffering to tick. First of all your word as an established provider with pages and pages of very good reviews should be enough. I haven't read all of your reviews but I read quite a few of them before we met a couple of summers ago and there was no one questioning your ethnicity back then!

As I said, some guys just need to think they are smarter than everyone else. My ATF is 100 percent Asian born in the Philippines.  Because she has lived in the US since she was a baby, speaks perfect English and has no accent one moron reviewed her and called her "half American" a few years ago. As I said, some guys are clueless...

Don't let it bug you.  Your reviews speak for themselves!

These both came from the same review.  WTF?  How can that be?  Maybe, there was a mirror and he looked quickly while they were in the act, and saw himself.

I know Asian Kim in my personal life and she is half Asian!  TER cannot verify that she is NOT half Asian (and this reviewer is basically questioning her marketing credulity  
/calling her a big liar...) and thus the review is NOT objective- no?  

My .cents.

But the kind of client you want can spot a clueless reviewer a mile away.  I discount much of what I read in reviews and only form an impression after reading the escort's website and a bunch of reviews.

Your website is clear and well-written.  Your pictures are unambiguous. Your only problem, I think, is that judging by that little smile, you've been a very bad girl.  Go to my room.

I am so glad you replied to me here...  because I do see you on the boards often, and I remember our time fondly!  I met you when I was "green," I guess.  I was "new," and you were really sweet to me.    I always want to say hi to you on the discussion boards, but then I get shy because I don't want to interject my salutations into the middle of some discussion thread.  So, HELLO, Bostonguy57.

Also...  I am glad you mentioned "half American."  It is actually one of my pet peeves when people use the word "American" as a race category.  There is a big difference between being a member of an ethnic group and being a citizen of a nation-state.

... because it gives me an excuse to suck up to an absolutely gorgeous, desirable and seductive woman.  I had my ethnico-nationalo-bullshitto detector (specialized form of multimeter) turned up to high when I saw Kim, and I hereby certify that she is a bullshit-free, half-Asian, All-American girl if there ever was one.  The fact that time was spent discussing the intricacies of Puerto Rican cooking confused me not at all.

I guess your situation is similar to Tiger Woods and to a lesser extent Barack Obama. Everybody wants to place their perception on you when you already established your identification as being Asian based on your name.  Some men are attracted the "exotic asian" look and if I was looking for that, I would not have booked you.  To give you a 5 because you did not fit his perception of asian is wrong and TER should drop that review.

OK, first off, you're GORGEOUS! Second, yes...you do look Asian...or "Eurasain."

I'm Indian and meet Indian men who think because I look Indian....means I dress in Indian dresses and talk with an accent. I have lived in Minnesota my entire life and actually speak German haha Shows how accurate stereotypes can be....

They say the reason Vin Diseal is famous is because you can't tell what race he is.  If your white, then you see a white person.  If your spanish, you see a spanish person etc. etc.  I wouldn't make a comment on a picture but everyone knows sometimes it is hard to tell what race someone is.  So if I couldn't tell but you said your half asian, I would believe you.  I find it rude of him to have called you out like that.

atleast you are not black. lot of providers(even our own black providers) will not even book black guys.

I expect NYC'ers to have a better grasp of ethnic nuances because there are so many mixed race people here.

The aformentioned review shocked me, in it's insistence that Asian women should conform to so many stereotypes/generalizations.

It does NOT bother me when people do not know what my ethnicity is.  I know it's ambiguous!  I don't expect anyone to just automatically know.  A lot of people do guess I'm Asian or even Chinese, specifically.  But, just as many people guess that I am Latina.

None of that bothers me.
