No. Most hobbyists are not rich "to begin with". Very few people are. Hobbyists are not all rich anyway. We all spend money how we see fit. Just like in the 'real' world. Some just budget better than others and don't spend the grocery money.
And no...sorry to break this to you....but if you're already a slacker...paying for pussy won't change that. If you don't have motivation and drive, then you don't have it. Fix that problem for the right reasons.

Hobbying shouldn't motivate you be more successful in life generally. It is a nice way to reward yourself for already being successful, however. And as for being rich? Nope, but I ain't broke, either.
I don't need to make more money, but once I started hobbying heavily I found it to be a big distraction and it would be hard to find the energy to increase my income by working harder when I'm busy planning dates, driving to/from incalls, and fucking during work hours. Some weeks I did it every day, some days twice. I've cut back, took a break for a month (I actually got some work done for once), and I'm probably not going to keep the same pace.
If you don't hobby that much then maybe you could do something with your drive, but then again if you don't hobby that much then you probably don't need that much extra income anyway.
