I feel kind of sorry for the threads that fall off this page.

I have often thought that it would be better threads with recent responses were sorted to the top, rather than only new threads.

who is likely not to go back and see. That's the only suggestion I can come up with with anyone who might want to post in a thread that's far down, or bring it up again as a new thread.

We're just so 'chatty' on this board that it moves fast! LOL!

(Can you tell I'm procrastinating from cleaning all this ASH that's covering everything??? It took HOURS to do it after the fires and now I have to all over again! Not complaining..thankful to have my home standing..just a nasty mess is all...)

I agree with Water. If a new post is added to an old thread on many boards, that thread bounces back to the top. Since it has new material, that is as it should be.

The most recent reply would be on top and that thread, having the most recent post, would be on the top of the board.

IMO, we'd see a deeper discussion of existing topics, vice repetitive discussion of the same topic at the same depth.

Me too.  It also helps from having the same threads started over and over again.
