Why not publish the moderation status of the poster somewhere on the site?.. On the right hand top corner, where it shows Today's date, VIP/Basic Member and TER member since "year", would be a good place..
Then publish on top of every board that certain random posts might be delayed even for those who are not moderated.. I could make post on S&P board, but thought I should add here since its relevant.Hi everyone,
I am a bit perturbed right now so please excuse my rant if you do not feel the same way. Everyday I try to think of new things to post on this site to make it more fun and interesting for everyone. I am sure that a lot of you do the same thing yourselves. It is even more difficult for us girls because we have to also post photos and weekly ads along with participating in the board dialogue. Actually many don't because they do not really care about the content of the dialogue if it doesn't equate to dollars and cents. That is cool with me because I realize that we providers are all business persons.
I have been a member of this site since 2008 and in the business for a few years prior to that. I've stayed in it because I enjoy what I do and the people I do it with. One of the things I really enjoy is participating in the board dialogue. Yes . . . some might say that is somewhat self serving if they are cynical but the fact is I get very very little business from TER since I moved to Panama City about 3 years ago. The Fact is I really being a contributing part of the TER Community.
Eariler today I posted a reply to a tread titled below as "Webcam - by Imcumn". My rely was titled "I haven't done webcam but I have done XXX video . . . Here is a free link to one . . . enjoy". Within my post I discussed why I enjoy doing video because it gratifies the exhibitionist side of me. I did include a link to a video I did a while back because I thought the guys and some of the gals would enjoy it. Yes I got a kick out of posting the link to the clip but I didn't receive one cent for doing it. Since my stage name I used in the movie was "Ruby" the movie does nothing for my branding. It was just supposed to be fun.
It didn't take long before I femininity was attacked by one of TER's most tiresome sourpusses. I reported his post and his attack was removed. I guess that pissed him off so he or one of his few friends flagged my original reply and TER decided to pull my post down saying it was too much like an ad.
Isn't this board supposed to be entertaining? If it is then it a certain element sure is making it hard for a girl to contribute to the process. I guess if you really get down to it Every post we providers put up could be construed as self serving but in my case I just enjoy having fun when I am not working.

TER hasn't made any improvements to it's format since I have been a member here. It really is too bad because allowing video clips Would make this site a lot more interesting and would certainly enable the hobbyists to see what us girls looked like without all that photo retouching.

they do have to maintain some sort of control, and with the amount of posts and people they're dealing with day by day, I suppose they have to follow protocol and abide to it if reported, just to keep things semi-fair.. nothing is perfect.

I wouldn't have allowed it either. The GD has always been an "Ad Free" board, It says so plainly, just like all the other national boards. Whether DE was demented or not is besides the point. Current management is simply following the rules that have been in effect for well over a decade. Do I agree with them on everything? Of course not, and I am a huge opponent of "RAP" but in this case I have to agree with them 100% If I were still modding the board, your video would have been pulled in mere minutes. Sorry.

But from my POV I don't really give a rats ass. As long as a gal is interested in putting something up that is entertaining...as you have and do...it shouldn't be construed as an ad. But it seems some folks like to attack others...and I'm one of them to be honest.
I think one of the worst features that became part of this site was the RAP and ignore buttons. More that the RAP was a "cheap" way to shit can the moderators and let the inmates self police. Needless to say that has been and is a total fucking disaster. The ignore button should only be used by those under 10...and they aren't supposed to be allowed on this site as I believe 18 is the minimum age.
But I doubt TER is bringing the mods back anytime soon...and the morons who hit the RAP will continue to be morons. Frankly if someone (as in an adult over 18) is reading these boards and doesn't like some post...hey, don't fucking read it.
And honestly I think that is the majority that are on these boards. There are some very immature hookers who post that they use the ignore feature...and a few incredibly immature johns who do the same. But the asswipes who use the RAP have an agenda...such as iwishicouldcumbutcant.

I am tired of writing defences to my posts when I could be doing something fun and constructive. That should make some thinskinned people happy but so be it.
I have always been willing to offer my advice to any who asked or I saw needed help weather they be a provider or a hobbyist. I know that you can see from my reviews that I have always been honest or it would of been reported.. I know , just as most providers know, this game like the back of my hand. I've been it since 2003. Yeah, I can do the math. I actually kept count during 2008 . . . I won't share that number but there is not a hobbyist on this board with as many notches on their score card so when I do contribute especially.about screening or safety you can take it to the bank.
This is still the best review board "so far" but things change. I am still hoping Ter changes with the times but I am becoming doubtful. If I want to have my posts moderated by someone from India I would have just stayed at home in Burma. It is best not to keep all ones eggs in the same basket. I will still post on here, in the weekly photo treads and on the Florida ad board. If you miss me send me an email and I''ll let you know where I have decided to hang out. I am considering several places.

You may recall was very vocal. The reason I returned at all is that I have several friends who hang out heare from my old Atlanta crowd. I am not going away completely . . .I never did before. I will jut be hanging out elsewhere. I did have a lot of fun here recently because I felt I could be a bit more open amid relaxed because my brread is not buttered here. I really do not get very much income from ter anymore. I am really surprised to have gotten three recent reviews here.
I could of just disappeared but was writing this to TER staff as much as everyone else. I am not being moderated now but they never told me why I was in the first place or responded to why my post was pulled. I imagine they are embarrassed. I am sorry for disappointing you buy I just want to have some fun when I'm here and it hasn't been much fun lately.

Since you were writing this for TER staff as much as anyone else, we thought we would respond.
We responded to you on the 29th (same day you sent us a message) and advised you were not moderated. We also explained at times the system might delay some posts. It has nothing to do with the poster. This has actually been discussed several times on the Newbie Board and the Suggestion and Policy boards.
You have not been moderated since Feb 7, 2012 when you told us you understood the rules and would not again post personal information on the boards.
Now, while we like pics and YouTube and other videos as much as the majority of people on the boards, putting personal pictures or videos on the General Boards and Regional Boards, still makes a post sound self-promoting, thus an ad.
We do not know how trying to apply standards/guidelines fairly is treating you like 'some 2 bit whore'

Can you huh? huh? lol. I was more thinking just the moderation status. I think asking them to post when the boards are delayed may be a bit much.
That or at least let people know
1. When they've been reported and for what - don't keep secrets... if a boss has a problem with an employee and he/she doesn't tell her employee something's wrong, he/she can't dock points on reviews or fire them. (My boss used to say that, lol)
2. When they're being moderated and why. (People continue to make mistakes not realizing they are. There are a lot of rules, understandably so, on here and someone may miss some... like me... you should see me drive,_

1. I think that would add just too much drama...Since we won't work for TER, the usual employer-employee relationship doesn't exist here.
2. They will tell you if you are moderated or not and why. They told me.. It was because of making insensitive comment.. Or at least whats deemed insensitive by popular culture. How do you know you are moderated? Your every single post goes in approval queue, but instead of keeping an eye on it, it would be nice if we could see the status.
I never get told I"m moderated, I can just tell. I'm only told when I ask.
I always welcome Admin's response because it clears the air and don't have to try and guess what is going on behind the scenes.
I would first like to clarify to the staff that I was not disparaging you with the two-bit whore remark. I made that remark in the heat of the moment and in frustration after having been slandered in earlier tread that was taken down by staff and after an earlier reply to this tread in which I was called a rats ass hooker. I am sorry that you thought I was referring to you. Be assured that I wasn't.
I was moderated on Feb 7, 2012 regarding my posting personal the information of email spammer that included name, address, and phone number who was contacting us providers BY EMAIL offering to post false reviews here on TER because I had no doubt that what that person was doing would invalidate the usefulness of the TER review process if it was allowed to continue. I did not nor would I EVER out anyone that I know personal information about through the course of my business or learned as the result of my participation as a member of TER. My posting this information was a reply to a tread started by another provider. As I recall the whole tread was removed but I am not certain of that now.
I discussed this with the Staff at the time in a series of messages back and forth in which I explained my motivations which I recall were accepted as genuine and without malice to the members of this board and TER. As I recall my moderation was removed shortly and I did agree not to make such a public post again even if the person was not a member of this board but rather report it directly to the staff to take the appropriate action. I realized later that TER could have a liability issue that I had not thought through before I was so naively careless.
I have always protected the personal information of my dates and those I interact with on TER as if it was my own!
Finally, I finally received your response to my inquiry regarding being moderated late last evening long after I made my inquiry to you. I accept that my post was randomly selected to be reviewed as you stated in your response to me but at the time the only experience I have ever had with a delayed posting of a tread or response to a tread was when I was being moderated or on the Politics and Religion Board. I am sorry that I misunderstood what had happened to my post but I believe my original conclusion to be reasonable as I had never heard of nor experienced this since becoming a member in 2008. I was surprised when my replies to comments within this tread started being posted immediately a short time after the original tread posted.
As to posting video clips. I did not believe that I was technically out of line since the links that I posted did not cause a photo of me to appear in my reply and I believed the posting of the link to be ok since it was within topic and I did not originate the tread. The fact is every we providers participate in anyway with the dialogue on this site can be construed as self-promoting because it draws attention to us. At the same time TER would be a very dreary place if we didn't.
Yes I will begin dropping such links into my weekly provider ad's in the future so stay tuned! At the same time I really do think it would liven things up here if we could drop such content here, on the city / regional boards as it applies to a tread we didn't originate, if it was in response to the original topic, and if it was NOT directly self promoting.
In any case, thank you for taking the time to reply to my tread because I feel a lot better now that I understand the staffs position and hope that you understand why I was so negative yesterday.
