i was browsing the reviews and some guys travel a long distance to see a provider. i guess i am lazy and just use provders who do incall in midtown manhattan where i work. there are providers i would not mind seeing in long island, westchester, phoeniz and florida, but i guess it would not be financially feasible  to travel somewhere just to see a provider atleast for me.

I usually travel about 100 miles, although business takes me to Chicago fairly often so I tend to take a longggg lunch:)Occasionally providers come local but not often.

Everybody has a different situation in life.  Mine happens to be that I do a great deal of business traveling.  Because of this I rack up a lot of miles which allows me to fly, book a nice hotel, and rent a car for free a great deal of the time.

I have the opportunity to see ladies on business trips most of the time.  However, since I live in an area where Southwest owns about 50% of the flights, I do get a few flight vouchers that expire one year from the day you receive them.  This has left me with an occasion or two where I have to use the ticket or eat it.  Therefore, I have no problem flying from coast to coast to see a lady that I find exceptionally attractive.  I also take the time to explore an area that I have never been to before.

I would guess that a lot of the reviews you are seeing are from men in my situation.  They either see them on their business trips or see them on a "vacation".

If you think this sounds like a fabulous lifestyle, you would be mistaken.  While I have become accostomed to travel in the post 9/11 era, it is hardly a lifestyles of the rich and famous scenario.

I too travel a fair amount and have gone from LA to Florida with the sole reason to see an old ATF (now retired).  I did arrange other business just so as not to do nothing else but play.

However, one day I just felt like getting away and doing something wild so I hit TER and found Marcella in Boston.  I booked the trip just to see her and get away for a weekend.  We did a 7 hour appointment with dinner at the Top of the Hub and I flew home smiling.  She was worth the trip.  Never a regret.

I second both of Mike1010’s points:

-- Almost all of my visits to Ladies occur on business trips

-- I find that in the last few years the increased frustration associated with travel, especially air travel, has increased my visits as the best way to keep myself sane while living out of a suitcase

I am a private pilot somewhat new to this hobby. After having the opportunity to meet more of the great women here in Phoenix, and we sure have a lot of them, I am confident that I will be getting some air time to CA and other places that have some beautiful and intriguing women as well. How far will that take me from home? Depends on the woman in question I guess.

I live back east but go to LA 3-4 x's a year....There's so much for me to do in LA (plus sidetrips to Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Catalina, etc.) & of course, the best providers are there, IMHO.......I will see several people & book for multi-hours generally, so it's all worthwhile....Go back in Dec. after Hawaii trip & can't wait...(Hawaii is not good place for hobbying)

In private pilot speak, there is always talk about the $100 Cheeseburger (renting a plane to fly somewhere to eat a cheeseburger) and then flying back.

Flying somewhere to see someone, now that is truely an expensive flight, but in my mind worth the trip.

Only seen two so far. Will be repeating with one in a week.

First two in Vegas, "guy's weekend".

The one in a week will be to a conference across country.

My part of the country hasn't any real good providers.

Haven't made the trip yet, but there is one provider in the DC area who I have seriously considered driving down there to see.

If you are a pilot, then you know that pilots are great pranksters. Shortly after getting my certification, I asked my pilot friends to identify a great restaurant that I could fly to with my SO at the time, for a fun and impressive evening. They gladly made a recommendation, without hesitation, identifying a place called Michael's located in a city about two hours flight time from my home airport. Michael's was even within walking distance of the airport so I didn't need to even worry about ground transportation when I got there. I set the date with my SO, we got dressed to the nines and headed off. To make a long story short, Michael's was the local sandwich shop at the airport. Needless to say, the SO was not a happy camper!

As others have said, I usually hobby on business.  I live in one of the big square states in the middle so I end up 1000 miles away from home but again, I was there for business anyway.

I wouldn't consider hobbying in my home city let alone my home state, too much to lose professionally.

I also travel for business sometimes and ALWAYS make the time to see a lovely lady in that local area.  TER has made that really possible.  Thanks so much!!

Regarding personal travel, I have driven up to 4 hours to see someone.  I live in Upstate NY and have made several trips to NYC to see ladies.  I've also gone to Boston (thank you Catherine!!!!!!!!) to see a lady I missed on a business trip.

Worth all the time spent.

I live on the east coast and have twice traveled via airplane just to have dates with providers I'd never seen in person beforehand.  The first time was a 5-hour date that ended up as a big disappointment and I'd never see her again.  I don't know what made me think this was such a great idea at that time and any rational man would have stopped there.  But there are many times when I'm irrational and easily swayed by a pretty smile and a great rack.  So I tried again for a long-distance touchdown (a Hail Mary?) and was rewarded for my efforts with the second lady(an overnighter).  I'd gladly see her again but probably only if either one of us were traveling through the other's part of the country.  Although I never say never and would consider trying it again, I've discovered that just as Dorothy said in The Wizard Of Oz -- there's no place like home.
