Well, I have always had the do it 100% or don't do it at all attitude. I triple check myself at work. I know the timing between the traffic lights on my way there so I never have to hit the breaks in my car! At a pretty young age, I learned all about drugs, and I applied the same 100% attitude. That world sucked me in because I was a kid, and the people that I was around loved the fact that this kid could rip lines with 30 year olds. I actually outgrew the whole thing, and became obsessed with working out. I quit everything, changed my diet, and joined an expensive gym. Then I spent all my money on shakes, and supplements. Its a good thing I couldn't get steroids, because I probably would have taken them. After that, I got a job as a bartender. Thus becoming a professional drinker. I will never forget the day I quit. The night before, I took a girl home that closed the bar.(She was so drunk she didn't realize we were closing) On the walk to my place, she threw up at least twice without stopping talking, or walking. I had a moment of clarity when we got to my door. Called her a cab, and quit the next day. Now I have a job that is perfect for my workaholic tendencies. The hobby is also a perfect addiction. I'll explain why... I would never think of using drugs again... I need to save money to hobby. I don't get super drunk anymore.... What if an ATF calls me out of the blue? I take better care of myself in general, because I want to look my best for my next experience. I know about my weakness, and do my best to use it to help me.

I have a hard time believing that only 3 - 5 percent of high school or college age males masturbate on a daily basis. I'd guess it is at least 50 percent. And 1.2 percent of men aged 18 - 59 is useless because of the wide age difference.
I have an addictive personality as well and it's VERY evident when dealing with men. I used to like guys a lot when I was younger and well, that hasn't abated one bit during my adulthood.
But when someone asks me about sexual addiction and the sort, I have problems with that being a real affliction.
With men, it's a natural state of being (or at least I like it) for them to be rutting animals. I adore that!
