Having or not having OnlyFans has zero impact on my decision to see someone.

....between real providers that have OF and OF models that swarm the ad sites.  It's pretty cool to see women that I've played with generating new work to enjoy.

Granted, I've taken a dozen years off so ANY request for digital content is an "uptick" from zero, but in the last 4 months or so I've had at least a dozen requests for such from both gents who have scheduled with me (phrasing it as something to 'tide them over' before meeting) and from those who haven't (phrased as "at least I can enjoy you that way"). That, along with a handful of inquiries regarding filming our dates and my increasing desire NOT to be in the US because of .... *gestures widely*....  has me seriously considering starting an OF or something similar.

It's not a deal breaker, per say. But it's one step closer to a porn star, and further away from being a girl next door type. It's harder for me to feel a GFE vibe if I know she is doing porn or has an OnlyFans.

I'm sorry this happened to you. By your review history you look fairly new to this little corner of the world. Having to send that amount of $$$$ to secure a date is a HUGE, glaring red flag.  

You say you offered her $8000 for a date, but you say you sent her $6500.  Is it possible that she was merely waiting for the other $1500 before seeing you?  Inasmuch as there are ladies here on TER that have said are usually paid in full BEFORE the date, did she ask you at all to fulfill the balance of your offer before agreeing on a day to meet?    

On one hand, what provider does outside my session doesn't impact me or others much (as long as it doesn't degrade service quality and effort).

In the earlier years when Only Fans was first taking off, it seemed companions getting to the point of being in the top 5, 1, or even 0.001% was a major boost that made them especially appealing to in-person clients.  

I would never see a provider just because she has an OF page. But there were a few times where I was on the fence about seeing a provider and discovered that she had an OF. I signed up for a month for less than $20 and after looking at her pictures and videos I decided that she was not someone I would be interested in. By investing the one month OF fee I saved myself $400+ that I would have paid for an hour date. Research is always your friend.

Something that I've come to enjoy is being part of the video. And sometimes, it results in me getting an encore performance!

I’ve never found a provider who lists an OF account and has independent reviews (TER).  I think almost all of them list on Tryst as escorts to get attention from the hobbyist crowd.  Then they funnel traffic into OF.  If they list a phone number, they just direct you to the OF.  
I did reach one provider with an OF.  Booked a time… and what do you know, she ended up cancelling me.  (After directing me to her OF, of course).
Based on this experience I usually skip profiles who list an OF.

I have found a Providers who lists an OF account and has independent reviews on TER.  I have been with a few.  While some Providers may do as you say, you can't generalize it for the whole demographic.  The ones I saw were also on P411.  

The more information the better, at least that’s MHO.  If I happen across it, which wouldn’t happen because I don’t even look at Only Fans, it’d be just one more data point to base my opinion on.  P411 and TER reviews are what I mostly base my decision on.  The only other thing that I do is to look at her X account, if there is a link, to get a better idea of her personality and more recent pics.
