Wow, I am really ignorant of how this hobby stuff works.  I am sorry to hear that the reality is what it is then.  I believe that I get along with most of the providers I have met, and am really surprised at some of the ugly things that you ladies have to deal with.

I've never seen it that way.  Sorry, I must be missing something.  When it comes to who I spend my money on I read the reviews section and go from there. The BS flying around the boards is entertaining but seldom plays into my buying decision. Most of the regular female posters here are either out of my area or out of my price range.

With Providers struggling to make Money and the amount of Providers on the Market, I'd say the Power is in favor of Hobbyists. The Girls I'm seeing are finding this Business not quite as Profitable as in years past. Sure there was a Time when the Providers could pick and choose their Clients. That's the exorbitant pay coupled with the non traditional work skills (hot m, good in bed, don't need a degree) allows providers to live with more than than ordinarily would if the pay were piddly.

I did not miss the point.  If I had to take a job I did not like (and I have had to in my lifetime), because there is nothing else, then I would because yes I need the money to survive.  I would be just doing it for the money then.  Perhaps I should have stated in my above post that I have been fortunate enough that I have a job that is not just about the money, and yes I am thankful for it.

I mean, not to put people's business out there, but I know girls that would absolutely fuck you for free. I've watched them drag men in from bringing their bags up because they made a nice comment, terrible hair and 40 year old bellman be damned. There are some shared clients that we ladies will text about out of the blue about just because we miss them. I also know girls who absolutely hate sex. Across the board though, it's always been obviously, the money, but that they also have fun. Even if its just sometimes. And the fun part is what actually keeps you here long term instead of being just another flash in the pan, I think.
