In the super olden days they had “merkens” which were pubic wigs! The working girls of the era would shave for hygienic reasons and to get rid of pubic lice, but men expected the bush, so the pubic wig was worn. I have no idea how they would attach such a thing or keep it secure during a vigorous session!!

While visiting in Naples we went to Pompeii. However, splooge samples on the statues would not have survived through the ages so it remains a matter of speculation.

First of all, I do not believe that that 9 minute film is from 1907. I'm no expert, but there are a lot of qualities that seem to be superior to non-porn professional studio silents from the 1910s and 1920s. "High res" (for the day). Not a lot of graininess. Lots of lens changes. Etc.. I'm not buying the 1907 claim.

But there were pornographic, explicit still photos before movies even existed. I would not be surprised if it turns out that Daguerre invented daguerreotypes as a way to coax his girlfriend out of her undies.

What I liked is that the girls were pretty and their nakedness was totally natural. The direction or "plot" must have been, "This scene takes place in the days of the Garden of Eden, before clothing, before there was any shame with nudity. Run around, have fun, be natural. Lights! Yeah, the scratch lines on the film are consistent throughout the entire 9 minutes. That looks like a digital fake effect.
