We always talk about how important it is for hobbyists to have hobby phones. And I think it is a no-brainer for providers to have separate phones for business and personal use. I always assumed they all did, but obviously not all do. There was a post a while back, I believe from magic, where he actually had to tell a provider she should get a separate phone, as she was applying for a real job. Anyway here is something I find kind of funny yet a little scary. When researching providers (especially from bp) Most of us will google phone numbers. Well, four times in the past two months, (all different girls I was researching), I googled phone numbers and came up with Craigslist ads. Not for providing. One for a lost dog, one was selling a car and two were selling furniture. I find it funny that they are dumb enough to use their same phone number for different things, and have no clue how easy it is to get information from google. But the scary part is that not everyone has good intentions obviously. For me googling the phone numbers is to find out if she is a legitimate provider. I'm checking if there are reviews or other ads out there with the same number etc. But other people could have other motives and use this information with bad intentions obviously. Someone could call about the couch for sale, and now he knows where this girl lives. He could show up at a weird hour, or become a stalker, or show up like he is going to look at the couch and bring up her provider ad, to her, or her SO, or her mother, or...
Just kind of strange that some of these girls have no clue. Anyone else run into this when searching phone numbers. I have to assume it is common if I have seen it 4 times in 2 months in my small market.

an CL ad popped up she was selling a nice gold pocket watch. I wonder who she stole that from?

Speaking of furniture I saw two BP ads the girls looked identical. The photos were rearview shots no face, one with minimal clothing exposing some tats, the second with a bit more clothing covering the tats. Each ad used a different name and # but clearly the same girl and they were both on the same page very easy to compare. Then I noticed she was posing on the same bed complete with same bed spread WTF?

Complete with pictures of the entire family.  Yes, I was nice enough to say something.

once when I googled a girl's number. In fact, I've had similar results several times. I didn't bother to call to find out who was on the end of the line. Another funny result is two girls with one number. What are they doing? Does one provider retire, and the other take up the number? Maybe I should call someone and find out what's going on, but I figure my chances of a straight answer are slim.

I even found one provider using her real name. It is going to be real hard to escape this when the time comes as running her real full name on Google will like you to her old reviews (on multiple sites good luck getting them all pulled), her old ads with full faced nude photos, some of which will never quite go away, and the like.

Those that use don't use hobby phones are taking a huge risk. I have warned some of them but they didn't listen. One ladies wondered how LE got past her fake name no face shot to give her a no sexually orientated business licences ticket when she used her real phone as her hobby phone.

On a more happy thought here is a photo of Chiara A form MetArt.

That is why we google the phone numbers in the first place. To find things like multiple girls using the same number. That usually means agency or pimp. It is quite common on backpage. I was referring to provider phone numbers coming up in totally non provider ways when googling the number. Your plumber's example is a good one!

I guess that is the problem. Some of them don't think.
And thanks for the pic. You know what I like. LOL

Thanks for the explanation. Yes, this was on Backpage. As for the plumber, well, both plumbers and providers clean out your pipes, so I guess they provide similar services. Although I would be very disappointed if some 50-year-old guy showed up for an outcall, unless I just happened to have a backed up sink.

Several years ago now I googled the number of a provider that had just recently moved into the area.  In the results were her currents ads, a couple of reviews, and a CL post looking for a personal trainer.  The CL ad included her real first name which is rather unique in its spelling and the suburb that she was living in.  I was very interested in seeing this girl but didn't want to spook her by just calling her up or sending an email warning.  So I sent her an appointment request on P411 and asked that she call me asap as I needed to figure out my schedule for the next week.  She called within an hour or so after I sent the request.  We did the "get to know you a little" chat on the phone, got our schedules coordinated and then I said.. "you know I always try to be careful and search around a bit before meeting someone new...."
