So, I recently came across a top level “pro” on Eros who requested BOTH a photo id AND a social security number.
I told her that was a NO go for me, as well as for MOST mongers out there.
How ‘bout you, gents?
What’s the MOST info you would give to see a potential ATF?
WHAT info could be potentially DAMAGING?
For me, the “social” and my state id # are off limits, to ANYONE, ATF or not.  😡
I feel that any criminal element could do the MOST damage with those two pieces of personal info, hence, no dice for me.
WHERE do you gents draw the line?
Thanks in advance for contributing!  😊

There is absolutely no reason to reply with "I told her that was a NO go for me, as well as for MOST mongers out there." to her request and you just move on.

Asking for my social would have resulted in radio silence!
No F'n way! Wtf does your social play in any form of verification?
Sounds like a poorly thought up identity theft scam to me.

RIGHT... but then she lumps me in with what some refer to as “time wasters,” rather than getting a HINT that maybe I, and OTHERS, would see her if it weren’t for such an UNNECESSARY request as a SS#.

I think it can be used to get other info about you, but also can be used to fuck up your life.

So probably too dangerous to hand out to anyone.

and my handle on another board if she wants to look at posting history. That's it.

Did she ask for your birthday and mother's maiden name, too?

IMHO providers need to verify two things; 1) You're not a cop or connected to a sting and 2) You're a good client (make payment, don't short change, clean, etc.) and not a serial killer or abusive client.

Your TER review history should sufficient. That's what it's there for. If you are venturing outside of TER with all of this information available to you, shame on you.

Or... “HE” slick! 😳
“She” said she was one of the TOP rated European “pros” here on “T.E.R.”
Didn’t bother to VERIFY since the whole “S.S.#” request was an IMMEDIATE “red flag.”  😲

I’m sure that even the “powers that be” at “T.E.R.” would agree its not the “end all/be all” of mongering, albeit an important one.
Sometimes you wanna go “off the reservation,” but do so SAFELY.  🤔

after providing all my account balances.

Okay, so yeah, not giving out a SSN or a number of other bits of information.

I spend a lot of time staying UTR. I don’t even use my cell phone, not my real email, nothing.  No woman is worth that.  I’ll use P411, TER, agency referral, provider referral, and that’s it.  If she can’t get comfortable with what I have to give, then pass.
