Try using the back door to the old system. They may close it someday, but for now, use it and we can all quit bitching. This is not our business to run. I am sure the owners made a decision for reasons they don't have to share with us.

Thank you for posting that! TER looks so much better in the old format! Now I'll just have to hope that they don't disable the backdoor.

My apologies to those who got excited when I posted that I would no longer be posting on the discussion boards. It appears that as long as the backdoor remains functional, you will have to continue to put up with me. Sorry if you started your ticker tape parade already.

To the staff at TER, its ok to admit the new format is a lemon. Two words: New Coke. If the feedback of the past few days doesn't convince you that the old format is a gajillion times better than the new, I don't know what will. Coke listened to consumers, brought back the old recipe, and actually wound up stronger for it.

Whether they think they have good reasons or not for this change, the customers are speaking, no screaming, their dislike for the new format.  You'd have to be tone-deaf not to hear it.  But then, all these same comments came out during the first beta-test and TER management apparently ignored every one of them because the final site looks exactly the same as the beta.

Ignoring the voice of the customer is never a good long-term strategy if you want to stay in business.  And I don't think there will be any "bail out" money for an escort site.

TER is the only successful review site of its kind. It has name recognition unlike any other site. Try the other board if you haven't already and you come back here screaming for relief. It also has the numbers, its MasterCard, VISA, and AMEX all rolled into one. You're right, the customer has spoken and if they don't kill the classic view, you really don't have a leg to stand on. If they do, their numbers will continue to grow and as long as you hobby, you are likely to surf these pages no matter what the format becomes. They know it, you know it.

With change.... There are always a few bugs... In all seriousness Where do we report bug issues and missing features we all came to use and love?

I will agree.  The type is too small in the new format

I have more than some minor experience in creating and/or critiquing user interfaces.

And, I have to say this new format is difficult to follow.  The old format may have been 'outdated' ( to some degree). But it was easy to navigate---and it worked well.
